drip clean with every watering?

hand watering in coco drain to waste.

can i add drip clean with each watering with 10% run off and not have to flush? or should i just flush with drip clean once a week? or every other watering?

im feeding my plants maxi grow and bloom.

after about 6 weeks of vegging i start to get N, cal and mag lockout even with adding 5 ML of cal-mag per gallon of tap.

does drip clean even work for flushing coco or how often do you flush coco with ph adjusted water?

I believe H&G says to use it with every watering, although i would still use a flushing agent. Using the drip clean will help with the lock out problem i think, and take care of any build ups as well. its a great product. i love h&g

Every feed @ 1mL a gallon, no runoff.

I been bumping the dosage up Lil by Lil after having a few good folks tell me they are running at 1ml per gal. The stuff is cheap to a point. But have u noticed any difference running at 1ml vs the .4 that is recommended?

I just took anecdotal feedback from growers on the forum... and it seemed like up to 1mL they saw increased plant health... More than 1mL and they experienced diminishing returns.

I have no doubt .4mL works, but what it does is bind ions that would otherwise fall out of solution... so I think that .75-1mL would work even better... but then you get to a point where you don't need more.

I swear, I was just thinking about this today. I have been using at recommended dosage, and it has been working great. Every feed, Every feed.

I also use 0.4 ml a gallon so far with no problems. Coming up on 4th week of flowering, 4 weeks veg. I water to runoff maybe once a week other than that just water every few days, 2 large cups of water for 3 gallon pots. Still learning as I go :)

the grow is 10 -5 -14 i think thats to high k for coco , its locking ur nitrogen out. use a nice 5-5-5 for grow of anything and you wont get n lock out. the bloom is 5-15-14 id add a bit of nitrogen to keep them going thru the first 4 weeks then just do maxi with coco, and yes u can run drip clean throughout with no issues. also the yellowing can be magnesium deficiency but you cant use cal mag as too much calcium will also lock out magnesium. buy some epson salts from drug store its magnesium sulfate and add a teaspoo every 10 liters for few feeding and this should cure the prob if the new 5-5-5 doesnt do it. i pretty sure its too much k in the grow, ive used both of them extensively in the past.

Quoting myself to bump this onto new page.

When do you add the drip clean to the nute mix? Does it even matter?
