Best MH bulb for trichome production.. ?

For HPS I use hortilux, but someone posted something about hortilux blue and trichome production, so I may want to try that out.

Now I also want to throw a MH bulb in the mix to bump trichome production...

So which MH bulb models/brands have you found that are best for trichome production?

Horti Blue is a MH.

hortilux super blue's are the shit. it's a 600 watt hps and a 400 watt mh in one bulb. fires on an hps ballast. testing them out in a smaller grow before i switch over to it, and it seems to be killing it..

If your looking at Mh for increased resin production, Give UVB bulbs a try. I use 2 per 4by4 foot area. Really adds on the resin.

Ive done grows where I kept the UVB in the same spot. So it only hit one side of the buds and not the other.

When those buds were dried and cured, you could EASILY tell which side received the UVB.

I'm just trying to figure out what I should go with here. 2 hps with hortilux and 1 mh with ?, or 3 hortilux super blues, or what.

I have done 4 grows with UVB so far. It adds "sugar" trust me.

I mean, its only a 20-30 watt cfl type bulb...try it out for yourself.

oldmac runs UVB in his personal grow. For him it does not add trichomes to the count but does an equal count grow in 10 days less time. Effects seem to be strain dependent with most testing being done on indica's and hybrid's because that's what is being grown.
It would seem sativa's would respond better as they are more an open sky plant, but until back to back tests are finished, who can tell?
My test room just became available again last week. And by coincidence I have a tray of indica and a tray of sativa just taking root. One plant of each is going in the new UV test room in a few days. UV levels will be similar to 4' into the shade by an open field near the equator (info from lizard sites). If this makes an appreciable difference I will do a grow with open sun levels of UVB.
175 watts total light per square foot on a small veg plant is not as massive as it sounds. Compared to a mature plant hardly any leaf area is available to this light. As the plants fill in the watts per foot will be reduced. This is a 2' x 1' grow, UVB stuff is expensive at high doses.
I do not have any expectations as there are as many results as there are grower's testing. I will add mine to the pile.

I tried them Hortablu bulbs too. Found the same thing with them: they work best when plugged in and turned on. Maybe it's just me? I'll smoke a bowl and get caught up with the rest o ya.
