Anyone have a Superbox or Supercube? How are the results and ease of use? http://www.supercloset.com/index.php?c=product&m=index&d=20

I saw the Bloombox by BC Northern Lights but it seems to be much more expensive than the ones above.

I am looking to purchase a pre-made all in one grow box. I am not looking to build one myself, nor do I want to.

Was told the bloombox is $3600 fully loaded with everything I need. Superponics are much cheaper, but are they as good??

all I know, is call BC a couple times to get the lowest price.. there kinda scammers that way..

I called them to ask on a price, they told me 2800 for the mothership, call and talk to someone from there new model thingy ( looks like a kitchen appliance ) and then got to talking about the mothership again, then he quoted me 2000 !! I'm all for 2000, but kinda don't like the way they run business, so I would call a couple times getting different people and haggle with them.. even use there website as it will load someone for you so you can try different people, and it will give there extension..

anyways. I like the build of the northern lights. if I had the money go BC, as they have a HID in there's and use digital ballasts.. I also thought it would be cool to replace and use a LED....

anyways good luck whatever route you go. try typing that company in Google and see if anyone is having problems with them..

I never grew before so I'm looking for something I can buy and start with no problems. I'm not looking to yield anything big...just for myself, so if the Superponics can do it for me then why not?

If that's what you want is simple then just forget the box and get a fan, filter, light and ballast, space and oh yeah seeds. Don't forget dirt. Check the beginner guide sticky on organics for a couple other little things such as base for mix ewc pdl bone,blood,kelp meal or whatever you wish...and oh read alot, trust your gut, less is best, overkill will work too...plan ahead and most important KISS. I think that's it really and some luck..3points boss count it fuck I am out of breath just posting this

Good luck. A locked door or two..think outside the box..smell ? Carbon filter / fan? I mean what are you gonna do when you tend the garden? No matter how sneaky a box for growing weed is I think I would still notice it even if it weren't wide open with plants and shit out everywhere...you really want a room. I think sometimes I have a really big inefficient micro grow really but it works for me and I have done it in real cramped spaces and frankly IMO life is better when you have some space to work and its easy to secure, just don't ever let anyone in that room. Doesn't have to be sneaky just get a good door and lock that shit up. You would thank yourself later. I bet for the money you could do a helluva lot better than a prefab box...

hell yes he can, those pre made systems will never do what you could do with the money you spend on it, just study these threads, more damn good info on setting up your own grow in any style you want here on ic, but its your money, waste it if you want.

my only qualm with that box is the size restriction, I hope you can yield well with plants that are only 18 inches high. I know I sure prefer 5-6 footers. just my $.02

dude you could make a super badass self system for that money. Also, as I built my aero system last year my mentor always would say, "you never know your system unless you build it." It really did help me to build my own system because one shit went wrong, which it did, I was able to know exactly where the problem was.

I'm taking it that money is not the big issue here...so for curiosities sake...what's your seed selection? It sure wouldn't make sense to buy such an impressive cabinet and toss bagseeds. (not to say that some haven't grown out some real bomb stuff) I'm just asking. Good luck with the grow!

What is your goal? Where are you putting this box? If you are growing for personal then how much do you expect to get and how often? Obviously it can be done and has been done here, but everything always looks real easy..do you not have a room in your house to use? I assume you do the room the box will be in.just use that room to grow in. Use all that Jack you are about to blow and just use the prebuilt box you have..the room!

take a look at the new spinners. they are aeroponic, will handle a 600 and will supposedly yield up to 3lbs per 600 (company claims). hey, even if you get 1lbs per 600, you should be happy. looks like a bbq.

I hear alot of people say they start up the bloombox and have good results.. but I have to say hydro is alot harder then soil grows.. I would take the tub out of the BC if you get one.. but that's all up to you


I think what people mean is, if you look around it's very simple to setup what these are showing.. a tent, a fan and carbon filter, with a light and you have what the box is.. minus hydro system, but you can easily buy that also.

if your wanting the box because you feel intimated, don't. it's not complicated and anyone can walk you setup by step how to setup a tent.. if yous super laid back and want something like these, that's cool to.... I'm talking all money aside


to me, you might end up wanting something bigger then the box you showed.. the BC is way more then enough for one person, and the BC has a veg side, which this other one doesn't
