Bleach ends root rot. Never use any zyme product in a res.

2ml bleach per 10 gal of res to kill it. Then 3 days later 1ml per gal to keep it steril.

h2O2 Does with more/multiple benefits imo!ive never run bleach because of that! sodium hypochlorite!
!? ,i would run it on the basis, everyone rates it though. H2o2 has soo much more to offer imo! its no contest. running bleach is like a real poor mans alternative! unless someone can convince me otherwise!

What are the benefits of running h2o2? How much/how often do you use it?

I could waffle on but think this explains it: http://www.growthtechnology.com/liquidoxygen.asp (2.5-5mls P/L 17.5%))

works for me, good stuff to have knockin around! Bleach only has the sterilising aspect. pro's n cons with both.

ive seen h2o2 wipe out the brown slime caused by Hygroshit! early on, before it got foot-hold(discontinued use mind)!. I believe running bene's is the way to go with hygropoo if you want back up in hydro! but i never got round to doing it, just fked the shit off! no probs after!

its my understanding that hygrozyme has living organisms in it witch are intended to break down nutes in soil and soil type aplications i have never used it on my areo-ponics but always in my soil. Also i know if you leave a little standing water with hygrozyme it will mold quick and even quicker in higher temps. so i dont think it would help with the stress on your roots.

if i understand the literature correctly, hygrozyme does not contain any live cultures, but rather it is the enzymes that those bugs would produce. i had been using it briefly on a friend's recommend, but will not do it again. whatever else it may or not be, in my limited experience, it is expensive and useless at best and downright detrimental at worst.

hooray for empirical research!
