aeroponics system needed that only uses ez-clone neoprene inserts for medium?

guys im looking for a system similar to this in the link below which is the Pipe Dreams Plant Tier V96
http://www.progressive-growth.com/proddetail.php?prod=24004B

i was actually planning on buying the pipe dreams system for a long time but i just realized that the height of it is insane and doesnt make sense. i also dont like how all the pipes arent an even height. does anyone know a system thats similar to this except every pipe is an even height and alot lower to the ground. just remember that all i want to do is take neoprene inserts out of my ez-clone 120, slip them in the aero system then im done. i dont want to have to take all the clones out of the neoprenes and transplant them into something else. also no hydroton rocks will be in the system. it will just be a king size ez-clone type system. my ideal system would be 80 plants in a 5' x 10' space with 2 1000 watt lights. does anyone know a system like this?

just to add ive never ran aero before and i dont want to build my own system. i know thats what everyone is gonna tell me but id rather spend the money and be done with it

Just put it on level racks. Keep the system, change the mounting configuration. Looks like you would just have to shorten up some drain lines?
Make sense?

very impressive setup but for 1/3 the price you could do something just like it with pvc and a few items from the hydro shop i made a aero system and saved hundreds and hundreds works like a charm!

i hear what your saying but ive never seen this type of system in person plus ive never done aero before so in order for me to build one i would at least have to buy the pipe dreams first, see it person and then copy it and try to build my own

Just like every system of growing or cloning that the grow store sells.
;)

Tree.
Can you go to a store and actually look at that setup?
If you can then it would help out a with your dilemma, answer alot of your questions and solve all your problems.

no cause they only sell it in canada. if i ordered it i would have to have a local grow store make a special order for me from the company in british columbia. how the hell did no one in america make a king size ez-cloner type system like pipe dream? thats crazy cause ive had that idea for years

If you can build a model airplane or car you can build the system you want....actually it's easier than building a model and more rewarding!

Go buy a couple of 8 foot fold up tables and set the system on the tables. Secure the pipe with all around strapping.

Or
Buy a couple of saw horses, lay some 2x6 across them horizontally and then run some 2x4's down vertically, screw it all together set the pipe between the 2x4's and again secure the pipes with all around strapping. .

Mounting the system flush is simple.

Otherwise find a carpenter and tell him you need him to build a craft table for your wife. Give him the dimensions and off you go. Tell him to build it so he can disassemble it and you can assemble it at home.

Don't ask the guys at the grow store to build it. Thats like getting a drywaller to do your taxes?

Build it yourself.

Everything you need is right here. You can alter the system to fit your space requirements. I have been using it for 2 years and have found it to be the most efficient way to grow.

I have been thinking about doing this in my DWC setup. Working with hydroton is a drag. I am gonna pick up some of the foam mats from HFT tomorrow and a 4" hole saw. I think a 4" collar should be good for my plants which I suspect will finish around 3.5'. I think the collar should be able to hold the weight of the plant as long as the hole is tight enough to support the weight. I will keep you guys posted.

The neoprene mats are only about an inch thick. I don't think they will be stable enough - bummer. I did order some 3.75" neoprene collars that are the same thickness as the EZs. They will be here in a couple days. I'll update once I get them.

Check out my journal for ideas and PVC couplers

I did check out the journal and I do like the idea with the PVC couplers. When you say it is a locking collar, so there is two pieces? The top piece which the neoprene puck sits in and then there is another threaded and locking collar that you thread onto the top piece? Would you mind snapping a pic of the underside of the lid just to help me understand better?

I think I might have to employ your idea when I transplant today.
