Blue Dream on the left and Hog's Breath on the right. amazing to see the yield potential of the Blue Dream, just a beast of a plant.

2 hours of training under the 1st trellis. At this point I am really happy with the 600s, with this plant, and this limited vertical space I would have heat stress by the time they maxxxed out to the 2nd trellis level.

HORTILUX ^

USHIO ^

A couple weeks into flower now. Using Big Bud and discontinued use of Bud Ignitor...saw some impressive results from using it and restricting vertical growth with the trellis. I now have a pretty dense canopy, that is difficult to photograph without pulling plants apart. Pretty happy with density, had to pull a number of fan leafs off to keep PM away. Added another oscillating fan to increase air flow and shaved the legs off these tramps...game on for the next 6 weeks.

Burn one for those without one.:joint:RIP AZ victims

Feeding Big Bud, Canna Boost, Hygrozyme, Piranha, Flora Nectar, FLoralicious Plus.

Foliar twice a week with Alg-a-mic

Base of Heavy Bud up to 1500 PPM

Ushio on the left, Hortilux on the right.

Been picking off any leafs that are blocking lower sites. I think I am going to end up taking the tops and allowing the bottoms to develop for a couple more days. These pictures are from 4 or 5 days ago. Should have new ones after watering tonight.

Flush looks like : Cannazym - 100 PPM Magical - Vermi-T every 3rd watering

Grand Finale + Cannazyme + Final Phase For the next week and then just the Cannazyme and Final Phase for the last 2-3 waterings.

Things are looking good...will post the final #s in percentages not total yield for each side when all is done. side #1 100% side #2 96%, that type of thing for those who care to know which bulb is best.

Og is too much for a residential address and only a Max Fan 8 + filter to handle it. Had to get some Ona Gel to lay out around the garage.

Danks: I'd say you are right on. The Ushio looked better to the naked eye in veg, but once both canopy's were full it evened out much more. The yield will tell more, but for now the quality on both sides seems identical. From what I read the Ushio 600 puts out many more lumens, and that may have played a big role in the quick start.

2 weeks, maybe less until the chop...will update with the lolipop and the yellowing the leaves, and hopefully get a better camera in there for the swellin of the glands to close it all out.

And then harvest...and then another harvest of higher yield in the Spring... and now one more harvest coming, then dry wall + mini split + automated irrigation etc and etc until I feel like I only need to observe until harvest.

Still have the warehouse rockin, this was only ever an experiment and a way to deal with no football, and shity Laker season. Still grinding and safe though.

lookin good Germ...whats the dimensions of the tent and the 2 trays? just wonderin. how do you water? hand water? do u have something set under the tables for runoff? how often do u water? shit like that.

I did a 4x8 tent with 2x 1000w...1 ushio, 1 hortilux...I liked the ushio a bit better. def tighter node space...quality was hard to judge because I had different strains under each lamp, but overall gut instinct told me the ushio was a bit better.

Tent is a Grow Lab 290, I think the dimensions are a little under 10x10 with less than a 7' ceiling. Really wish they had made the bigger tents with a taller roof. It would be a headache to run trays/pots with 1kw bulbs in this tent with the short head height, as it is the plants are trying to wrap around the damn bulbs.

I have bottom fed pump in there with a wand for hand watering, straight neanderthal style! I have 2x 20gallon reservoirs with Flotec pumps on float switches pumping the water outside into a holding tank that I use for plants outside....runoff rarely goes to waste.

Used Roots Organic this round and really liked it. It bubbles up much like plain coco when you water, and when cut with perlite it gives you a couple more chances to water each round. Water every other day.

I am sold on the Ushio 600w. I replaced all the bulbs last round with them after observing both sides running the same genetics again, and for the 600 the Ushio did better both times. The yield is similar if you let them go for 9 weeks like I do because the plants have so much time to ripen and catch up, but if I was growing a 6 week variety I am confident the Ushio would outperform the Hortilux even more.
