bong broke need help!!

I have a problem......I dont know how to get the down stem out, it seems to be stuck like glue with all the resign.....anyone have any idea on how I could fix this?

the down stem broke...so is stuck there, normally I wouldnt care but i just broke my bong yesterday

hot water and rubber gloves so you dont cut yourself. Let it soak in hot water for a bit.

If hot doesn't do the trick ,put it in the freezer.Alcohol couldn't hurt either.:friends:

tried the alcohol idea.......but i cant get the alcy to stay in the one area......

doesn't heat make things expand? Pretty sure it does, I would try putting it into the fridge.

Heat it up so it melts the resin. btw its a female stem.

Lay the pipe on its side and place the affected area in a bowl of alcohol.

take a flame to it and wiggle it out with pliers. You might also be able to use a flathead screwdriver and hammer to break it up even more.

thanks everyone for the advice but just to let you know it was soo stuck that none of those ideas worked.....I ended up geting a screw driver and I chizzeled away and only broke a lil peace of the bong which is easly glues back together

For future reference, ether is a great solvent that cuts through dried resin easily and evaporates quickly. i use it to clean the screen in my skuff box when it gets gummed up.

Use in a well ventilated area of course.

I know those ideas are good ideas, but the thing is it was at sucha akward spot that it was very difficult to put just the part that needed it in a liquid.....I tried everyrthing but I came to my last resort and luckly it got fixed!!! Now all I have to do is wait a month n a half till harvest!!!!Till then its little strags from OD 2010
