Soon Now

Its about day 61 - I think - Here are a couple of quick snaps from my phone (sorry about the poor quality, digital camera batteries re-charging).
Will post proper set of photos tomorrow, hopefully.

These girls are going into flush soon, in preperation for harvest.

When I was in Oregon I was looking for the Swiss Cheese strain. Supposed to do well outside in a wet climate!

Yes, they are reputedly very mould-resistant.
Maybe something to do with those Alpine and Himalayan genes :skiiing:

Certainly, they are very resinous.

If I could find somewhere secret enough to do a guerrilla grow around my area, I would certainly think about giving Swiss Cheese a go.

Nice plants you have there, will be interesting to follow the last part of your grow :)

Thanks friend

I'm just a little embarrased that I didn't manage to get my first 'public' grow dialed in properly. But the experience I've gained in my first time using Coco (on a very tight budget) will, I'm sure, prove invaluable in my next grow.

Here are some better pictures of the crew. Two shots of each plant in each picture.

Plant 1 - in a 5L pot

Plant 2 - in a 5L pot

Plant 3 - in an 11L pot

Plant 4 - in an 11L pot

They are going into pre-harvest flush from tomorrow (for 7 days).

In the end, cuttings were taken and grown on in Coco instead - and what a good move that was.

I have never seen MJ grow so strong and fast :plant grow:

Canna seems so easy, and effective, I can't see me ever going back again.

Yes, yes it is...
Canna is cheap AND effective... with coco to boot WOOO! Good stuff!!

Nice There's nothing quite like toking your own herb.

Cut mine a week ago and am enjoying a nice swiss cheese joint as I write - and have to say its getting hard to string a coherent sentence together
The bud is constantly improving as it continues to cure.

I'm looking forward to my next grow, how about you? I'm thinking about PurePowerPlant or White Rhino for christmas
...decisions decisions.

Hello Buddy. Of course you may ask my friend. Sorry I've not replied before but I've not been online for a while - internet access has been a bit of a problem lately.
The total yield (about 70g dried) was not mindblowing, but the smoke made up for the lack of weight. Nice skunky aroma, pleasant buzz followed by a medium/heavy stone.

Have grown Northern Lights N9 and White Rhino before - in soil - and they remain very firm favourites of mine. Wouldn't mind trying some different 'whites' if and when circumstances allow. Also thought I might have go with GHS's The Church.

Anyway, looks like I'll be doing the next grow in a proper dr120w grow tent (thanks to a good friend) with at least double the light, which I'm looking forward to. Sorry you've had issues getting your next grow going dude - starting them is the most nerve-wrcking bit as far as I'm concerned.

Keep cracking the beans dude :)

Raedwulf,

Glass half full. You learned a LOT, and you've got a fair amount of what looks to be excellent smoke. Have fun. -granger

Good Looking plants Raedwulf.! smoke any yet?

Thanks station2. Yup, in fact I'm stoned as I type. Unfortunately, I mucked up the pictures of the dried bud and have already blazed much of it :smoky:

I've been checking out your 'a low-budget summer grow ' thread, looks good dude.
