alrighty folks, saw about five or six bananas on the cherry haze right short of week 8 (like usual ) so had to take her down. i have a pretty big group of cherries in bloom now, and they are gonna get the flush started at week 6 so they have enough time to de-harshify (lol) prior to popping nanners at week 8 and having to come down

decided to make some ice water hash to get my spirits back up i included a pic of the filters i use in making the hash... they are for heater/ac vents in your home, but they work amazingly well to filter out your smaller particles of hash water without grabbing the trich heads at the same time

mixed up the water/stuff after letting soak for an hour with ice. strain big parts out by using strainer. strain again immediately through the vent filters. let sit for couple hours, then siphon off top, etc., etc.

i am the first to admit i do not make good hash nor am i an expert at it, but the stuff on that thread looks pretty sweet so hopefully i'll get it ironed out at some point, lmk if ya have any tips my friend

nameless: yeah i've done it before, biggest problem for me is not having the patience to siphon out the individual particles off the top.. which is why i use the vent filters i suppose. wouldn't need to really if you took time etc. i am pretty pleased with the end results. i had to leave to go take care of some shit and i have a lot of purple in my trim (see bubba and viper and g-13 and cherry lmao) so it came out pretty dark, but not harsh at all... here i'll throw up a few pics next post, i have some others too:


ok here are a few shots of the cherry tw coming down in a few more weeks... about a dozen or so of these lovely ladies. starting to see some color change so pleased there. those who have been with me a year or so know the cherries can pop pretty sweet f'ing pics (if i wouldn't have had to delete them all i could post one now lol stupid picture limits, i gotta send in that coin one of these days )..

lol only took a month to flip em, but finally the purpose of the thread is ready for action i decided to flip the two furthest along tubs now, mostly so i have a bit of time to react for the rest of them if something goes wrong, and also so i will have some herb to harvest in between the two main harvests. i flipped the cherry haze and killer chem tubs. i am phasing out the cherry, and i have a good mama of the killer chem goin so no need to keep these tubs in there they are ready for action

and here are the viper tubs, goin back in veg for a few more weeks... really hopin these guys are gonna put out a TON of herb. the individual vipers are ridiculously fat. one comin down at the end of the week or earlier, so stay tuned.

the weird single/three-leaf thing corrected itself with the vipers.. though the one-fingers are still there of course at least the new growth is coming out correct. good stuff. can also see the two bubba kush x DC tubs. coming along much slower.. should have put all four in same tub. still might do that after taking clones (i beat the shit out of my veggie plants if ya haven't noticed lol proof is in the pudding ). oh yeah the little vipers were doing so poorly i took them all out except for 3 or four that are actually getting light, should be able to see them... i think i will be making something out of them with the empty tub i'll have once combining the four bubbas in one tub. more to come. anyway thats about it, off for a few pics of the hash, be right back

k here we are, yeah gooroo i think you are right it def didn't come out full melt, but i can't tell for sure cuz i don't have a proper screen lmao i'll pick one up here in a bit and see if a big ol fuckin chunk will melt or what is left. like i said the stuff sat in the water longer than usual cuz circumstances etc. so it soaked up more clorophyll from the purple leaves, thus more dark color, but as far as i can tell in the macro pics it is nothing but trich heads.. not sure maybe there are some foreign materials tho

mr.p: sorry for taking so long, but lets see.. yeah for sure they fight for space and will push each other out (unless they grow at the same pace, then they are fine lol). i had one viper trainwreck that was seriously lagging behind the other five in the tub, so i yanked her and put her in a individual cat litter container. also the real little vipers that went in the tub with the bubba were getting crowded out by the bubbas (of course lol) so i put them in individual containers too. the 12 or so cherries in the one little cat litter container was thinned down to just four (one in each corner) and i think that is it for the ones that had to be moved or were crowded out. the six vipers in the other tub are doing great, as well as the six cherry hazes and the four killer chems. more updates to come once i get them all flipped. if i were you, i would say start with four plants, one in each corner, then weed them out if/as needed. it's easy to pull the tiny ones out once the others cover them up. also having a little company actually makes them grow faster in the beginning, a little friendly competition
