I love the floor dri. It certainly doesn't float - infact I just went to look at the roots on a spider plant cut and when I flipped it a layer of straight peat moss came out. And all I saw was de. *I didn't dump the rest. *The little pot has been outside for a month or so. So maybe it was from rain hitting it. But seems like the peat moss does the floating now. *I'll dump the pot out and check it later

DGS select mix #5, very fast, fruity, sticky, crystalized dank. a keeper for sure.

GHS exodus cheese, I got this one seed as a freebie, and it really impressed me. Huge calyxs, smells funky sweet skunky. hanging now.

I've been running my ballast at 75% in the summer heat, takes care of the problem where temps peaked in the 90s for a few days. nice feature.
also picked up a little aqualab goodie to taste all this fresh dankness... my new chalice!

Damn Self, everything looks great! How many square feet are you working with? Seems like you doing a lot with a little!

Thanks giant :tiphat:

my room is..
4'x4'x5'
and I'm running a simple verticle setup, picture a set of stairs with short strains on the upper stairs, taller strains closer to the bulb, and tall strains at the bottom of the stairs trained up against the wall.
a picture might help...
picture.php

I'd like to pull at least 1 oz a week to take care of my patients, but I'm not much of a schedule guy, so i just try to keep my rooms full, and chop things when they look right. right now I'm moving toward running 3 or 4 identical clones a batch from mothers i'm selecting from seed. If I get anymore patients I'll move toward more of a sog...
thanks for stopping by!

haha, how many can you make out in there? that one on the lower right is smaller than 12 inches, so its out, right?
it was an experiment on throwing a white widow clone straight into flower. not much stretch on that one.
a lot of those in the bottom front are test plants actually, and not in the garden anymore, fwiw, lol, right?
as for scrips, in my region i've had trouble keeping up with demand...and it seems like things are really going to take off after ld1296 goes into effect late september...
sometimes i have to pinch myself a little...what a crazy dream this is!

on another note, I cut down my beatiful dgs select mix #5 which is an awesome sweetest cindy99...and I gave my camera to my girlfriend to take to the grand canyon, so no pics...
but let me second what everyone else has reported about it being a really easy, high yielding, fast, low odor (imo) super trichomed amazing plant! I can't wait to run it again.

loving kindness

thanks Rusty,
the cheese has been cloned. and reveged. the clones were finicky, and slow to root, but I think I've got them back on the right track now.
I had no expectations from this strain at all, so its been a pleasant surprise. a friend who tried some the other day said it smelled the same as some cheese he moved at college, whatever that means. I've never had cheese before but i do see some similarities to skunk.
it puts me to sleep, but should work great for my patients.
thanks for stopping by

thats where it stops sounding like the uk cut... which roots like a tomato plant...easy as anything....but, i guess from what ive read the smoke is near enough, closer than a normal outcross it seems.

yeah, your right on the skunk front, it is just that...a 1/1000(??) pheno of sk#1...im sure the med users will consume it lovingly...:)

if you harvest a little early the smoke is more upbeat..:)

yea is going to be nuts.Me and the wife are caregivers.Just set up a 12x24x8 flower room :jump:the 12 inch thing kinda scary to me if they pull the tape from the bottom of the root mass and it is the plant a guy could get screwd. The one thing that sucks for alot of people is ,if your broke good luck geting into this thing.just droped 1100 bucks on shit and sent the state another 600 bucks not a poor mans game:tiphat:

No, I've had to look at it just as one would when setting up a small business. The first year you just hope to recoup your expenses, and be ready to make money the next year. or something like that...

I may be adding a few more patients soon...might have to build a bigger room...:whistling:
smoking on some sweetest cindy 99, otherwise known as dgs #5, that just came down from drying. very nice...but strong!:biglaugh:
have a good one,

update time.

update time.

So it's been a little while, but that doesn't mean I haven't been hard at work! I've been meeting new patients, planning a new room, fixing up the one I've got, and growing growing growing!
here's the room...
picture.php

Here's a peyote purple after 30 days in the flower room, check out the trichomes!:dance013: I love a sticky curled sugar leaf...mmm...
picture.php

Then here's the only remaining dgs mix plant, all the others got the chop these last two weeks. I think this is a dieselrella, but not sure, and input from the experts out there?
picture.php

picture.php

last but not least a little white widow who went 12/12 from clone...pretty small plant, but very pungent herb, almost sour in its funkyness. I figure these need at least a few weeks under the t5's next time to add more nodes before the minimal stretch.
picture.php

So that'll do it for the picture update, I'll try to take some pics of the dried oger 99 and swtcindy99. They are both awesome, but the oger is just dripping sticky frost, absolutely one of the best looking buds I've ever seen!
have a good one,

I want to switch my lights to run at night, obviously I run a perpetual harvest, so it is inevitable that I have some plants in my flowering room when this change over occurs...I'm thinking one fell swoop,
one day the lights don't come on, that night, they do! and everyone lives happily ever after. anyone think this will be disastrous?
