I am about to start growing for the first time, and was hoping to get some critique on my plans for the setup. I know that the things I have thought about doing and making this cabinet and growing this type of grow is maybe a bit too ambitious, and if so, please let me know.
1. Homemade Carbon-filter
2. Fans
3. Lights 4x 85w CFLs 2x 2700k and 2x 6400k
4. ScroG approx. 2,5 m^2
5. 1x 45w CFL (Both a 2700k and 6400k CFL)
6. Air intake
7. Pots 5x 1 liter and 4x 10 liter
I am going to use seeds from Greenhouse seeds - 5x Super Bud (fem) and 5x Arjans Haze #3 (fem).
I have thought of buying Air-pots 5x 1 liter and 4x 10 liters (Any experience with air-pots?)
The lights will could be risen and lowered when necessary.
I am a bit lost on the whole nute part, but I have been looking at a Atami Bloombastic Starter Box for Soil at hydroponics europe.
The seeds is going to start in 5 1-liter pots in a seedling mix soil, then transfer them to 10-liter pots with soil mixture 50% peat 25% perlite 25% leca, I am going to use a closet/cabinet measuring 130x90x90cm and grow a cross between a v-scrog and a cylinder -scrog. The idea is to make an inverted cone shaped scrog-net with a hole in the bottom (approx. 10-15 cm diameter) and top (approx. 85 cm diameter) From the lower to the upper hole there will be approx. 70 cm and the estimated area of the scrog-net will be around 2.5 m^2. The light is going to hang down from the big hole in the top of the scrog, and a second lamp will be sticking up through the hole in the bottom. I'll be using 4x85w cfl in top 2x2700k and 2x6400k, at the bottom I will use 1x45w but may change between 2700K and 6400k depending Vegge / bloom. There will be an air intake at the bottom of the closet, and a homemade carbon filter at the top, I haven't decided on these measures yet.
I will be going 18/6 vegge and then 12/12
- I have been looking at grows, reading books and threads like mad for the past couple of months now. I haven't got a clue if this even is possible as a first time grow, or if the specs are right.
I would be very grateful is anyone would give me some feedback.
