1200w 5x5 Hydro Vert Tent!!

So my sprayers are pretty much clogged up! Im tired of this going on so im going to cut the pipe in the 2 back totes and pretty nuch make it a Under Current with a top feed. It will make much more circulation. Anybody see a problem with doing this?

Lol. Well I almost flooded my tent today after cutting the sprayer fittings. The pump flowing more than it drained. But That problem is fixed now I hope. I added the two cages and did a bit of training on the plants to get them out of the light bulbs. I also added another HPS bulb. That tent is bright. Here is a baby bud shot!

My ppm is at 950 right now on 18 of flower. I did not know that the bud sites grow so fast each day. The size of mine are up about 25% of what they were the other day.

well you will learn alot from that setup. very tech for a 1st grow, cool! baby plants take a while to fill a big netpot, then drop their roots in the juice. I have found that larger works better than smaller for me. I like the added support. namaste.

I have been learning a ton from this grow. I think the plants in the back are some pure sativas that I dont have the time to flower. they are some bagseed. I may remove one of them thats not budding are fast to make room for the Critical + or the NLxBB bud sites. Not sure what im going to do yet.

Great job for a first grow, that's for damn sure...might want to rearrange the lights to one on top of the other if those girls stretch at all. Nice setup

edit: looks like maybe you already moved a light up a bit...

You are right. I did move the lights around. I will have some updates up soon.

Good job on your first grow man!

You'll learn that the plants go through cycles where there is a little quiet and then a storm. The buds will rapidly grow then slow down for a few weeks depending on the strain and then they'll seem to magically get super dense in just a day or two. It's great fun to watch.

Don't be afraid to let them ladies get closer to your bulb. Move them closer until you see some fan leafs get burned or light bleached. Take a good sized branch and train it (or attach with twistie ties or something) into the screen and see how it goes. Sacrifice a few buds if ya have to get the feel of things and all the other buds will surely pay you back.

Day 24 of flower!

Day 24 of flower!

These are some bloody great ladies. I did a ton of training and cleaning up today that took me almost 2 hours. Had to turn the HIDs of and put in some cfls so I could work and take some pics. Im not sure why I didnt take no pics after the clean up and training but I forgot. Im still learning and keeping it balls to the walls. I decided to keep the Sativa lady. This vert grow is making some soon to be huge colas out of branches that you would not of imagined would ever make any. Got a pick of the stem of that sativa I was going to get rid of. I know it look crowded. Haha. Im going to do a water change tomorrow and up the ppms to 1100-1200. They are really hungry and im sure they will take well to the increase from what I have been seeing. I got the tent dialed in and my temps are between 77-81 with lights on. Any advice or questions?

Beautiful filled up tent. Glad I made it back in before the show was done. I can't wait for the end, I'm a numbers guy myself. :)

Lovely... wow it's sure packed in there!

I'm interested in seeing a res/table pic if ya can...i'd like to see what your roots look like!

Its actually only 7 ladies in a 5x5 tent. I think it is the 1200w of spaced out light in the area that is causing them to grow so crazy. Now I'm only speculating because this is only my first grow. I will post some pics of the tent after being trained and try to get some pics of the roots for you. I have to do a water change today and I think I will be able to lift the lids to get some.

ROOT PORN!! I got a few request to see the root zone. So I figured I will take some during the water change. This is the roots of the Dinafem Blue Widow. The tent after I did the training yesterday.

Not bad for a first timer! We all, (well most of us normal folks anyway) had to learn...and it seems you're doing it pretty well..

So i see the misters... and i see what i'm assuming are pipes to maintain equal water levels in all the buckets correct? How do you add water/nutes? By hand? Sorry if i missed that part lol

Correct. what you see are misters but I have removed them because the microbe tea kept clogging them and now have a waterfall action going on in each rez. I actually have a remote rez on the outside of the tent as well. The 2" pipes work much like the pipes of a Under Current system and the water level is maintained with remote rez.

Day 30 of flower.
These are a few pics of the ladies. Some of them have yellow tips but the PPms are at 750 after the water change. I should of got rid of that pure sativa like I was going to do. But oh well.
