Bubba is not OG Kush...

Pre 98 Bubba is a chunky frosty girl that gives off a scent of coffee kushishness. She hits hard and leaves you sitting there staring off into nothing. Her large calyx and somewhat leafy structure with golf ball to racquet ball size nugs, grows like a bush but straight up, meaning any side branching usually goes straight up instead of out to the side.

As for where it came from, there are several stories around the net, don't know which one is true and quite frankly I don't care, good bud is good bud.

Tahoe OG Kush I think originated in the Lake Tahoe region around 1996...once again this is all internet stories. I have heard rumors its not even from the area, but once again we get into the I don't care, good bud is good bud.

She is probably the most trainable of the OGs and she kinda grows vine like. Unfortunately I never got to finish her(got ripped) but she looked very promising. I would like to try her in SCROG next time.
Here are some pics of the Tahoe OG:

Both of these are great cuts and will probably never leave my stable. I don't have any info on Larry unfortunately. Hopefully this helps. :)

Calcio knows his OGs. Pre-98 BUKU is not an OG. It is a heavy indica. Tahoe is an indica version (cross) of OG. Larry is straight up OG, and my favorite of the three. Larry leans sativa and has the full on OG effect. IME OGK is a full spectrum high/stone. Whereas BUKU and Tahoe will floor you (good night!), Larry will put you in a mental/physical trance, then put you to bed after an hour or two. The best/real OGs like to branch/bush then stretch like crazy when flowered.

Sample them all if you can as they are all potent. I just happen to prefer the Larry, but you can't go wrong with any of those cuts. If you are an indica lover you will prefer BUKU or Tahoe over Larry. Just depends on your own individual tastes. I believe Tahoe is the best yielder of the three, but BUKU and true OGs are notorious for being low producers. Small, golf ball sized buds that are exquisite in every way. The solution is to grow them big in veg to up the yield.

I can certainly tell you about the Bubba. It's a small plant that vegs slow and wide, roots well and produces classic "Indica" pot. These or rather this (I grew 4) I grew by mistake, as I thought it was something else.Initially I was not very impressed with this weed, it needs a bit of curing time to bring out it's deep flavors.2-3 weeks in a jar changed the taste and odor considerably.much of the weed I have can be smoked just dried and it tastes great, this one needed some time but it was worth it if you like "Indica". All I can say is that everyone I gave it to loved it(except one) so on the popularuty/quality scale it must be up ther...Shit I'm stoned and rambling again..

The rest of the Kushes I honestly know nothing about.I have Sour Larry cut that I found from seed that was (Larry OG X SDIBL)X Larry OG.The pot is very nice, a million miles from the Bubba. The high is that great "California" high everybody in the world looks for, slightly citrus, mildly skunk almost chemmy.Great fun, if you ever have the oppurtunity to grab hold of a Larry cut, do it.On its own it must be fantastic.More Bubba... Most of the OG Kush crosses I've grown have had some stunning individuals.

My apologies for the triple post but there's a few things I'm clueless about on the computer.I put so much time into growing this thing, the whole time oblivious that it was a Bubba, when somebody says Bubba, I jump.:)Here's nice view of one in veg, they are stumpy, squat plants and are ideal for indoor growing.Yield wise mine did pretty well with around 3oz per plant in a tray about 2ftX2ft, however that tray was in a big flower room with a million lights...ramble on Chaco.:)
