Holy shit man, hopefully you have some idea as to who did it so you can handle that shit. Thank God your girl is safe that is the most important always. Shitty though so sorry this happened to you brother. Karma will fix this loss for you eventually she always does 
hate to say it bruh ,,, but only time people get jacked is because they are easy targets. beyond my 600lbs of dogs that would love to tear a theifs ass hole out through his mouth... people know im a stong supporter of my 2nd ammendmant rights. theifs are fucking cowards. they only go after the weak. they know you keep a loaded firearm on your hip... you can damn near leave your doors unlocked. at least look at the bright side. your chick didnt get hurt and all they took is plants. could have been ALOT worst. my advice to you is to reevaluate what your doing because youve fucked up somewhere. normally its company you keep. in my experience the majority of this shit happends from people that are closest to you. its like bob said:::

Yeah they cut the power? That means they planned the shit out of it. So they knew their target. They only took plants and busted down a door that would take them right to it. Planning it sound slike to me. Also someone who also knew the inside of the house to know the door would take them right to the jackpot. Also right at harvest? Pffttt someone who knew what day your shit was coming down for sure. May have not been someone you know, but they gave the info to the person or people who took your shit.
Sorry to hear that, scary shit. I bareily leave the damn house anymore for that reason. I have been stepping up security alot lately to prevent shit like this from happening. 99% of the time though I am on the other side of the door with a .45, and I am a night owl so I pull security. Hope others learn from your story, really glad everyone is safe. Time to move if you want to ever grow again.

that sounds pretty scary for what your gf had to go through, while it would have been nice if she had access to a firearm and some training that also may have created a worse situation...timing does sound like inside job i dont think random thieves could get that lucky, i know talking to police is sketchy but maybe these guys have a MO in the area they might have gotten caught somewhere else....i try to hide talking about harvest schedules amongst anybody i know il say its a month off when im really trimming, here in cali its hard for a grow to really be a secret because everyone grows and ive had friends in my grow and vice versa not like non med states.... because of this im always super paranoid about having my grow broken into because i also live here so before i even had a flowering light i spent a couple grand to get the basic security things done but theres still more to do...you can also try anchoring the door by drilling a hole into the floor or bolting a 2x4 into the floor and sticking another deadbolt into there...and camera system that texts your phone when it alerts motion, as well as motion sensors placed in your driveway and front yard to detect when people are walking around there....motion sensors are awesome you hear a little doorbell ring so you know whats outside..
such a tricky situation because if someone broke in here and i shot them dead..the cops would find a grow, herbs, a gun.....its not an easy choice to make. my friends warehouse was recently broken into, while the guys were prying the door my friend let off a few shots down the stairwell...they ran off after that. i dont think i could get away with shooting in my neighborhood..i might announce my prescence and say i have a gun, hope they get the message if not then its aim center mass and let loose...good luck with things i say fire those lights up again and keep the pistol close by!

Okay... I'm an asshole... have had issues with girls in the past... have serious trust issues... but girls seem to be with stories of horror just as much as cops & rippers. In fact, girls get mentioned with those other two groups quite often.

i couldnt imagine how difficult it would be to find anything at 3am with the power out without knowing exactly where i was going. i agree whoever did it has been inside your house before

How did they know you were growing? Big mouth? Chick set you up? If she leaves in a few days you'll know...was the electric off outside? They came in and turned off the power and then hours later they came back in a robbed your grow? Something doesn't jive here...later
