what happened to fanny packs???

I was at a music festival last weekend and there was a naked guy wearing a fanny pack the entire weekend.

I always use one when I'm in the woods. You can't beat em for packing stuff like cell phone, snacks or a length of cord or digital camera. But we always called em saddlebags.

I would rock a camoflage one while in the woods no problem. The aqua green and pink ones are the ones that make me question the fanny pack. They sell legit, man-friendly fanny packs through Eastern Mountain Sports and other stores now...they look pretty rugged...I think you wear it in the back rather than the front though. A totally waterproof fanny pack is something I could use for kayaking...keep everything in there nice and dry.
I'm buying a fanny pack ASAP.
