any reason i cant evap the iso off in a teflon pan and then toss it in the freezer? i hate all that scraping using a glass dish. thanks

How are you planning on removing the oil from the pan after it's frozen? Can you just bang it out? I wouldn't use an old pan, since some of the teflon can flake off, but a new pan might do the trick. I kind of like scraping oil from the pyrex anyway, kind of relaxing to watch it collect at the end of the razor blade.

For iso?
If you just card the warm stuff into a decent sized pile, then freeze it, you can use a dental pick or razor/exacto to break it up into chunks/powder/etc.
Scoop into viles using tiny spoon while dish sits inside freezer.. I keep a spoon and pyrex baking dish in there all the time, usually. Once it's in the viles if you want just set them out under room temp and let them drip down and come to normal consistency. Or keep them in the fridge, but meh.
It's way easier to work with when it's frozen and acts like glass shards/kif.
i am assuming the oil wont stick and easilly be removed. ya i would buy a new pan just for iso.will let ya know how it works . gonna do just a small trial run
I think that he's thinking of butane, since ISO would never evoparate in a bag. Butane might, then if it were put into the freezer, you could peel the honey oil out.
Again, it wasn't my idea, but I think I can see where he was going with it.

you take the teflon bag and spray the butane into it from the bho tube, then you dunk the bag of butane into some hot water, leaving the top of the bag open well you can evaporate the butane easily. then you have a teflon bag with bho stuck all over the inside so stick in freezer and all the butane will get hard and fall off the teflon bag to make a nice pile of bho in one corner of the bag. no scraping at all. i don't make much bho, can count my bho runs on 1 hand so i didn't try this yet. but many have and love it for hassle free and no waste method. search foafs threads for the original info. i'd have ordered those bags for sure if i was into bho, but so far i just played around with bho, bubble is more my thing really.

Burning teflon creates cyanide gas.So I wouldn't do it
you will not be burning any teflon, that's the whole point, the bho falls off the teflon with no scratching or scrapping in the freezer.
maybe i will try nonstick foil instead.

I would just order some teflon bags. Though you could make a bag shape outta the non stick foil ,spray in your stuff,freeze it, and flake off the contents. May not be true but theres a link between burning foil and alzheimer's so make sure not to tear the foil.
