Opinions on Dry Feed Molasses (+roughage)

Anyone have hands on experience using dry feed molasses (sprayed on "roughage")

Roughage is asst plant matter. it has a suger content of about 40%... It could give the micro matter something to hold onto while surfing the aeration.

I am used to buying small bottles of blackstrap. My grow has facilitated pursuing other possible avenues (see link in sig)

50lb bag of 40% sugar = $12... just seemed right, so i bought some and Im brewing it up (100gallons)

anyone's experiences are appreciated !

I used to get this dry molasses that was sprayed onto crushed oats. it made for some kick ass compost tea. it was like 10$ for 50 lb bag. sadly i cant get that stuff here where i live now.

i don't know what roughage is though. id look more into it, even calling the company if you need to.

man, the old SNL skit "colon blow" just came to mind with all the roughage talk.

lmfao @ the colon blow skit, even just remembering it.

The stuff from hollands giants is super good, I mixed it into my plot at the beginning of the year and the Asian pear tree next to it broke all of it's branches off from too much fruit. I'm gonna do it again in the next couple weeks

roughage means asst things that looks like would be in feed, but tiny tiny bits like crumbled oats, corn and things like this... veggie matter... sprayed with molasses

like giving the fungal hyphae a submarine to attach to to ride the aeration!

so roughage is pulverised (but not powdered) animal feed pieces.

it would be nice to know which plants they were using mantoid if it says on the bag, or you can find out.

the stuff i used was only oats and i can say that the stuff works.
