new grower question

starting a new grow
but was wondering this question about yield

I know this is a tough question to answer
but side by side with the some setup
which would yield more
8 plants in 5gallon pots topped and lst
or
10 plants in 3 gallon pots topped and lst
both trimmed

Too many variables to give you the answer you want. Tell us as many details of the setup you want to use.....and maybe...

well first off my grow room is 2'7" x 4'11 x 6'7 height
im using a 600hps with a air cool hood
with a 435 cfm exhaust fan
with botanicare nutrients

Air cooled hood or not, it'll get extremely hot in a small space like that with a 600 watt lamp. Is it a closet? Where will you exhaust the room (not the hood)?

more plants, less veg time, less plants more veg time, generally they'll yield the same ime!(unless you give em less root space), id go with the bigger pots man! but judging by the size of your space, the 3G's are prolly plenty big enough to run 8. 10, topped n lst'd is gonna be a push in just over a m2.

no i have this tent in my bedroom by two windows ventin outside
with my filter
its getting to the 80s right now
but once i flip to flower im gonna get a a/c
to lower the temp..
