I love the whole plot line with Marie going crazy, making up stories and stealing shit from people's houses. She's kind of a boring character so the kleptomania really spices her up a little.

Really looking forward to next weeks episode.

Well I thought the dude in the party scene from previous episode was significant somehow. I thought it may have been Stephen Root the guy who played Milton in Office Space.

I think its just Bryan Cranston. Why did they do that its not like Walt is going in disguise and sneaking into Jesse's party. I guess it means Jesse can't escape his obligations to Mr. White.. or Mr. White haunts him.. or something.. wtf got dammit why did they do that.

So with the camera recording the cook process and Gus thoroughly protected, Walt seems cornered.

I think the only thing left to do is fake an accident, creating smoke obscuring the camera view, and blow the superlab up. Then Gus is really fucked, his organization collapses, and the squish him like a bug.

headband: i think Hanks wife/Skylar's sister, the crazy bitch, stole that from the first open house she visited.

If Walter has balls enough to give Gus &/or the new handler the finger, he should just put a trash bag over the camera, spray paint the lens or just cut the power supply cable.

I agree the story line is dragging a bit, but they made the preview for next week to look like things heat up (if you can trust the preview lol).

Not diggin' the Marie character... more annoying than entertaining. Unless she goes full on psycho... straight jacket, padded room, babbling uncontrollably... yeah that would work.

Hank watching porn, then turning it off when Marie walks in... me thinks he's less paralyzed "down there" than he wants people to think. Maybe he thinks he's earned a break from the action, and being shot that many times justifies some down time. But he's scared shitless, and def in no hurry to go up against the chartel anytime soon.

Here's hoping for a lot less Marie and a little more Heisenberg in the next episode.
Last night pretty much sucked.

The whole carwash scene was unbelievable. Benzene, etc in the surface water and the dude Sky hired has one colormetric test kit to say they're all there. Any business owner would call an independant consultant for a second opinion before selling at a loss.

I might have been born at night but I wasn't born last night.

Jessie is disgusting - i guess he doesn't want to be alone, but i don't know why exactly.

He doesn't want to be alone with his thoughts. He's just killed someone for the first time, then hours later saw a man's throat cut. He knows his life is in real danger, and is doing all he can to keep his mind occupied. Making stupid choices, for sure, but it's all he can do to keep himself from contemplating the very real danger he is in. That's why he broke down after everybody left, just him and his thoughts.

Jesse's living room is a metaphor for his head and whats going on inside it.

He's in a dark place and it keeps getting worse.

Just noticed that Gale also worked with a bald, dark skinned guy named Gus in the last season of the Wire as well.

I think jesse wants to keep people around him at all times because he wants "witness-protection" in case anyone were to show up and attempt to kill him he has people around him to muscle the killer, or to scare off the would be killer...

...all in all though, to me it seems like he is in complete disarray at this point, lost and bewildered, with a dose of paranoia.... in my own opinion, I think we are witnessing the transformation of a normal kid who's heavy-hitting, traumatic events incurred from the "big league meth manufacturing game" are turning him into a deranged hitman/killer that will do whatever it takes to keep his "team" (yes, the same "team" i referred to a couple posts back that wears matching kenny rogers shirts and matching khakiis) alive and on top....next time he has to take a life, i guarantee he carries right on with moving forward- instead of constantly grieving about his past like a pussy would do.... perhaps this whole focus on jessie is signifying that he is losing that soft side, and becoming a MAN.....especially after hearing the non-sense zombie talk from his loser friends, he answered them with little interest, signifying (to me atleast) that he is through with the childish side of life, and now has real shit to focus on... will pinkman turn into a super legit mother fucker? time will tell....

as a disclaimer for my own personal dunce factor, i must say that i could be, and most certainly AM WAYYYYYYY off here..... but who the fuck knows really.... the show is moving in turtle-like fashion.....

http://www.deadline.com/2011/08/breaking-bad-eying-two-season-final-run/

With 11 days left until the license fee deal on AMC's drama Breaking Bad is set to expire, the network and producing studio Sony Pictures Television are heading into the homestretch of their negotiations for a fifth season of the dark series starring Bryan Cranston. Despite Sony sending out feelers to other cable networks and reportedly getting interest from FX, all sides feel confident that Breaking Bad will return to AMC for what is expected to be its final chapter. Creator Vince Gilligan had made it clear that he wants to end the series after Season 5. I've learned that AMC has an offer on the table for a standard 13-episode fifth season but Sony is looking for more. People close to the matter expect the final deal to be for 13-20 episodes, possibly spread over 2 seasons. Besides pinning down the exact size of the order, a sticking point has been who will shoulder the production cost for Breaking Bad going forward. In TV, starting with Season 5, the network take over 100% of a show's production cost. In the early days of original series on basic cable, the networks didn't know quite how to handle the tricky Season 4-Season 5 transition financially and tended to cancel shows after four seasons, like Lifetime's Any Day Now. In the case of Breaking Bad, I hear AMC is asking Sony for some participation in the budget, which most recently was around $3.2 million an episode. AMC and Sony's previous license negotiation last year was also lengthy and difficult. But this time around, a renewal appeared a much easier proposition, given the series' double-digit ratings growth for the start of Season 4, including posting a series high with the season premiere. Additionally, the auxiliary market, where Breaking Bad had been far weaker than AMC's signature series Mad Men, also has picked up. Thanks in part to a savvy deal Sony made with Walmart, DVD sales for Season 3 went up double digits from Season 2, a rare feat for a series these says. And after it wraps a deal for the show, Sony has to also forge a new pact with Gilligan whose contract is also up after this season.
