RDWC rows

hey guys i was imitating a rdwc setup that used to be on this site but has since been removied.

anyway in the original they used a 264gph pump to move the water through a 22gallon controller and 4 rows of 3 5gallon buckets.

unfortunately the width between buckets and the footprint of my light is only allowing me to have 3 rows of 4 buckets.

would a 264gph pump need to be stronger to move the water through 3 rows as opposed to 4 or should i be ok?

Maybe, but isn't a 396 like 2 dollars more? Go bigger and use a ball valve if its too much imo.

well i already have the 264 so i dont really want to get a new one. im just concerned the 4th bucket in each row will suffer somehow

Hook it up and test it! If it doesn't work simply get another pump!
