MMAR Question

I am going in to see my Doctor today and I will most likely be finally getting the forms signed, and I have a question for you guys (will ask Doc as well).

Can you apply for both a personal growing license AND to purchase cannabis from Health Canada? Because obviously plants don't grow right away and take a long time. In the mean time, I want to purchase from Health Canada because it is covered by VAC, which I don't think they will cover compassion clubs. Will ask though.

Yes the license is for the ability to acquire medical cannabis and then you fill out a separate set of forms for the growing aspect

Honestly dude, I wouldnt get the HC weed, even if you can get it covered. Its absolute garbage that you could prob get a similar effect to from smoking oregano. Your much better off going to one of the compassion clubs, might pay abit more but you will actually get medicine.

dont wait too long?

Is that a for sure thing Teemu? 18-24 months left of the current MMAR program? I was hoping it would be a little quicker to see what was gonna take place with this situation but the judges decision to postpone till november kinda sucks but in november the government has no more excuses , they have to deal with it , no more delays.
I can't believe they still think there commercial grower style plan is gonna fly , what a joke!!

You can only buy from Health Canada for 4 months after you order the seeds. That's to allow you time to grow your first crop. After that, if your want to buy more from Health Canada you have to submit the reasons for it(i.e. crop went bad/hermie, no success, low yield, etc). Sorry to hear it's a moot point for a while though. PM me if you want some advice on a new doctor(and you're legit, you'll need medical records).
