sup yall. so im here chilling thinking about what it would be like if the shtf and the world change as i know it.wut would i need and keep.thought bout lots of things u know,gun,food,shelter and animal stock and wut not.but for the first time i tought about how cannabis could help meh with food,energy and oils,cloths,ROPE and BUILDING materials!soooo i wanna hear ideas about strains.like i know centrial american/north american(mex mostly AND MABY texas) sativas yeild heavy seeds(rich in oil).also wanna hear things like toughest stocks or leaves and wut not.

u think nirvana hemp seeds are organic?in the sence non gmo or all that bs.thanks yall

What you want is a true commercial hemp cultivar if you're looking for fibers and pulp. I'm not sure, but I think there are specific cultivars for seed production as well.
The 'drug cultivars' of cannabis sativa are bred for their quality and quantity of flowers. The hemp cultivars of cannabis have been bred for production of the other useful parts of the plants.

just as an example, a woodier stem is preferred for commercial hemp, while a hollow fast growing, easily clone-able stem is often preferred in 'drug' cultivars.

yeah i read somewhere that a while back,a start up company tried to make composite wood from hemp but im sure the govt rained on that guys perade. he said its unmatched in terms of strength and insulation it beats out all hardwoods but im sure that was the sale speech and he was exagerating a bit.

Lotus built a prototype hemp-bodied car within the last few years too.
I think there was a hempseed oil powered car back in the early days of automotive design between 1880 and 1910.

If everything really did go to shit, and there was a lack of controlling powers, one might still have to guerrilla grow it or have a very secure grow area. However, if you could pull off crops, you could always trade your herb, if not as a recreational substance, then as a true medicine for people who no longer would have access to modern day pharmaceuticals.

I imagine, that this invaluable medicine would be a highly desired commodity in the barter system.

problem is if i go the hemp and medical strains is the pollen.ive smoked "hemp" like sativas befor.u know stringy,fluffy shitty looking weed.(fuked meh up though)it seem like a perfect dual crop.make dry hash,then use the fiber and seeds.3 useibal matrials,1 which is pyscoactive,the other 2 has many use such as food and cloths.its a tricky subject.and im sorry for the hard to understand writings.lol i b high and the words dont always be flowin like i think they are.lol

Keep in mind, when the shit hits the fan people aren't going to be respecting things like land ownership unless you can enforce it and protect it with weapons of some sort. Shit hitting the fan = Everyone for themselves, kill or be killed, Survival of the fittest etc.

Well you were the one wondering about people owning large segments of land. I'm just pointing out if the shit really does hit the fan everything out there will be for the taking, who ends up with land or whatever resources will depend on who has the power to take or hold such things as land.
