Sorry guys but been researching coco again & would like hear comments on this soiless mix .

https://ssl.cgicafe.com/clients/hmoonhydro.com/just_right_xtra.html

it seems pretty good right out of the bag , maybe some added perilite to airate the mix . was thinking FNB for nutes (when needed ) prolly not till bloom with a 3 week veg . seems a little hot for seedlings or clones but thats not a big deal .
any ideas or comments on the stuff ?

thanx guys

if you are a small-ish grower that isn't gonna buy a bale of this and 20lbs of that with 5lbs of smutz stirred in it's not such a bad deal. it's sure got great stuff in it.
if I was doing 3-4 plants I'd consider it.

I have used it, and then reused it again after amending. Very pleased, the pH seemed a little off right out of the bag, but a dose of AACT fixed that and I have been very pleased.

Cool .... thanx guys . yeah small grow ... 4 plants once a month perpetual .
so as long as i check the PH before i put any plants in it , i should be good to go for my 3 week veg . the add bloom nutes once they're in flower .

$22 for a 45 quart size bag ain't bad .... 1 bag per cycle .
hmmmmmm may have to try this stuff .

reaper .... what is AACT ???

To me this stuff seems like FFOF soil ... where its got enough nutes to get you through a 4 week veg but you'd need to feed it after that first month .... correct ? if so .... what would you suggest feeding it with ? not really into making teas & whatnot yet but would like to be somewhat organic . maybe a couple good bottled brands like FNB or PBP .... whatcha think ?

sorry for bumping a year old thread. but I've learned to search before you post a new thread and this time I actually came up with something.

anyway I jut bought a bag of this soil and can't find any grows completed using it. they start out listing their setup and all then it stops and there's never a pic posted.

anyone who used this soil please give all advice you have on it. thank you.

if no one responds I may start a new thread in organic soil because it seems to have a higher percentage of organic matter than coco but I could be wrong.

it won't carry you thru veg without nutes, supposed to, doesn't. I had good results with that soil plus compost tea and organic nutes. I put in more perlite and myco building addys.
I think it's better than FF and the other crap I've seen out of the bags.
superior flavor from that organic crop, I think it coulda been all the batshit I was using.
my veggies did well in it after. I switched to coco, way faster growth

thanks guys i am using it. and seems to be living right up to what you guys said. they are somewhat slow growing and looking nitrogen def. but im scared to feed salt based nutes into my organic medium... i add some mycos and hoping the kick in soon so i dont need to feed maxi
