Lighting for newly planted clones...???

How long after being put into soil should i wait to put my clones under my T5s?

I've been using t8s for a couple weeks but like to avoid that stretch.
I figure as soon as they start to grow well they can go to T5s... can anyone confirm?

T8 is a shop light right? Do they have roots? If they’re rooted, put them under and watch them, you’ll see in a few hours or at max a light cycle if they like it or not. I like to put mine on the edge of the light and give them a day to adjust and then move them in closer to the light when I’m certain they’re ready.

Yeah your main concern is that they have enough root system to handle the water that the leaves are drawing up. Can take at least a couple of weeks for clones to root. You can put your light over them at three or even four feet and watch em close for a few hours if they are wilting its too soon.

My clones stay in my aeroponic cloner for 10 to 14 days...
then, with roots 6 to 12 inches long i put them into soil and under shop lights...(t8s).
Soooo....it sounds like i can probly put them under my t5s in a day or two after that...correct?
