I have been searching every seed sellers website I could find for pure strains.
Specifically, Mexican Sativa, unmixed with any other sativa or indica. The seeds are usually light brownish gray with mottling.
Gold Colombian Sativa, pure and unmixed with anything else. The small leaves on the flower turn true gold in color and the seeds are solid brown without any mottling. (the color of UPS trucks)
Pure Afghani Indica, the seeds are huge, nearly twice the size of sativa seeds. Usually the seeds are tan or light brown with darker mottling.
It seems to me that the "breeders" just can't resist the urge to try and improve the pure seeds by crossing them with other strains.
I have talked to a friend in Mexico about getting some seeds, but right now it's too dangerous for me to go down there (Guadalajara) because of the risk of being mistaken for a DEA, FBI or CIA agent and getting killed.
I have grown Mexican Sativa off and on since 1967. It has the best high, in my opinion.
