It has been damn near 100 degrees allthis month and there saying there is no relief in sight. This is not normal for my area at all.
I have been getting dizzy from carrying 5 gal buckets and think im going to pass out and be left for dead. And that's at 6 in the morning!!! And still losing plants to not enough water.

Is anyone else experience this?

Carried 11 gallons of water out to my spot tuesday morning, carried another 11 gallons this morning.

Heading back out later this afternoon /early evening to spray everything down with liquid copper and will be bringing another 3 gallons of water with my just for that.

Probably head back out tomorrow morning with another 11 gallons of water for the thirsty girls.

As it stands now, it looks like I may lose 1/3-1/2 of my crop due to blight, this is despite using strains that in the past did not succumb to blight that easily. Im about to say fuck outdoor guerrilla growing and just get myself a 10x10 tent and bring it all indoors.

its been hot like that here but the plants love it! cannabis can take quite a beating outdoors as long as they aren't in pots i wouldn't be out there watering when its so hot

It's all about location brother. Grow near water and your problems are easier dealt with. I usually hauling 30 gallons of water every few days and it's not a big deal because I use a creek 100 yards away. It was in the 90's here for quite a while and heat indexes were up to 120, but I haven't lost any plants. You might want to consider using water polymr crystals in the future. Best of luck to you and don't give up.

Been lucky, have had some timely rain between all the 100F days. Lots of mulch helps.

Also started using Pro-Tekt this year. Apparently it's at least not hurting the plants.

i agree use lots of mulch or leaves..My girls get 3 gallons of water once every 2 wks after 90-100 everyday with no rain, and they are all fine

I haul 120 gallons from the creek once every 2 weeks, anywhere from 50-200 yrds(7 gallons at a time)

Dont give up tho, take a little food, lots of joint's n sum water and all will b fine

Goodluck!

Id much rather it be sunny and 100 than foggy and cold. Around my parts we haven't had real summer like conditions in two years now..Last couple weeks fog hasn't cleared till noon and rarely a day above 80, super lame for growing I really don't understand whats going on. my plants are already atleast a week in flower cause they cant get any sun around here. If it is the same conditions next year im moving farther inland cause I cant stand fog period much less in the middle of july, might as well be november already.

I gave up being "religious" about watering mine this year as I was getting poor looking girls with every 3 day soil watering.....

I just let mother nature do her thing now, and the long hot drying cycles seem to be doing better for them (established clones planted native soil, mixed with pro-mix and aged horse manure, and in the ground... that's it).

I'd start to worry if I went beyond two weeks without rain in these temps, but I'm done with hauling unless the girls really start showing issues at this stage of growth. Come bud time, I'll take it as required I suppose..... they are "weeds" afterall, lol.

I don't see how you guys are doing it!!! I've been watering every other day and just went to my spot to find dropping plants.

This is so frustrating for me!!!!

Outdoors there isn't much you can do to deal with the heat. I have been watering more often and the plants have been fine.

We've had so much rain through the spring and summer that it hasn't really hurt me, in fact I'm watering less often than I usually have to. My spots are all on perched water tables near spring sources, so that helps quite a bit. The brutal heat is mostly an inconvenience for me and my canines.
