Does anyone use a solar powered dc fan for exhausting?

ebay has some dc solar powered fans like these for around $45

I am about to build a veggie greenhouse where temps are very hot in the summer. if i have any hopes of using the greenhouse during summer months i must have some ventilation system.

the upside is the greenhouse should do nicely during the remaining months...

so what are you recommendations for venting? must be battery or solar powered.

thanks :tiphat:

Bump for this topic. Don't mean to hijack your thread or anything, but I'm also looking for info on solar exhaust fans. Have come across several for $200-$300 or so, but I'm wondering about the humidity/temperature at night when the fan is off.

well unless you got electricity then your gonna need an even bigger solar panel and batteries. .theres generally 2 kinds of solar fans . regular ones designed for the sides of roof like a regular fan. than the roof mounted ones more like inline fan. i reccomend both. one for circulation and one for venting. alot depends on greenhouse size. dont want them plants getting moldy
