The following link sheds some light on the misinformation perpetuated by House & Garden regarding their origins and products: http://www.cannagardening.com/sites/default/files/newsletter/html/en/newsletter-11-07-13.html

of course a company is going to say another company is spreading misinformation....

and the video in the link that supposedly PROVES that cannazyme works is the most bullshit video i have ever seen as a demonstration....

how could dissolving paper in 100% cannazyme PROVE it could dissolve roots? it does not prove a single thing......

It does seem H&G reps also let out that Roots Excel is a live biological in suspension, which I, a dupe, believed. They also put wording on those original fliers supporting such claims... like the oxygenation issue... later to be a misprint.

I dunno, if VdZ isn't a former scientist over there, then that little tid bit is also a lie put out by those reps.

H&G hit fast & hard... they moved up very quickly to the 'elite' category of nutes. This shit just wouldn't surprise me... not saying that Canna doesn't do it's share of marketing, a.k.a., lies.

H and G has been around a long time. They have had a great rep for a long time. It's just that they recently showed up in the US so now they're real? CANNA SPANNA

The hydro industry is a pile of bodies that everyone is trying to fight, kick, stab and claw their way to the top. Every one of them hates on the others. It seems like that is how business is done.

Hung out with the H&G guys years back when they were first getting into the US market, they were really cocky & arrogant. Gave me a bunch of their shit for free and I never used it just gave it away. That's all I have to add here! ;)

So because they are arrogant and not from the US is your reason not to use them? Most arrogant people have something to be arrogant about, maybe their products are that good. Advanced Nutrients BIG MIKE, is the worst but if their products worked like they claim, I would use them, but they don't...
:ying:

:yeahthats

LOVE Botanicare :good:

Great for veg... PBGP, Cal Mag and fish/seaweed.... top shelf veg.

its funny how they neglected to mention that the guy who made house and garden, also helped make the canna line. The quote that says that canna is still owned by the same person to this day doesnt make a bit of difference, lets do a little word association game : Carrol Shelby is to Ford as William van de Zwan is to Canna (somebody that took a basic model and turned it into an extreme work of art)

Incorrect. This is one of the myths that has been promulgated by H&G here in the North American market and is precisely the kind of misinformation Canna is trying to correct. William van de Zwan had nothing to do with the development of Canna's product line. H&G's website alludes to the fact that before 1990, he "spent time developing other leading fertilizers in Holland". In fact, he never actually worked for Canna. However, by implying that he did, H&G had immediate credibility as a top-shelf cannabis nutrient in this market. In fact, Canna was the first nutrient line specifically developed for growing cannabis, thus the company name. They were also the first company to develop coco into the widely used cannabis growing substrate it is today.

I don't even know if that's correct... mean, sensi a/b has been around a really long time... lot longer than i remember canna bein around.

and not like canna 'created & developed' coir... also been around before canna, though they marketed the shit outta it.

but i've been trying to pimp out magic fairy dust to the local hydro shops, so not any better over hear... lol... sold 500g at 25 per... but it's in the proprietary fairies that i use, so it's worth it. just can't put on the labels ground up fairy dust as it violates CA import/sales rules... ho hum... no one can reverse engineer this shit either... gonna make millions...

Canna was established in Holland far before Advanced Nutrients mixed their first batch of product. Remember, cannabis became quasi-legal in Holland after the overhaul of the Opium Act in 1976. The development of Canna's fertilizers as well as the migration of breeders to the Netherlands all followed this change in the law. The only stuff around in those days that was widely used here in North America for indoor cannabis cultivation was GH 3 part. Canna did not invent or discover coir. However, by building upon research performed for over 100 years after the discovery of coir in 1862, the were the first to refine the development to the point where it gained widespread commercial acceptance as a viable growth substrate. They were also the first to develop a coir specific fertilizer tailored to the unique composition of coir and the nutrient requirements of cannabis.

Pot-Heads, a marketers dream.

 nearly pissed my pants when I read this, so true. Canna Rocks, and I've ran H&G an am still running Canna. Canna has some very deep roots in the wide world of cannabis. Funny ish to think Advanced Nutrients was b4 them, very far from the truth.
