COUPONERS!!!

Holy fuck. I am watching this show about "couponers" and I start to remember my high school job at the grocery store. I remember a lady with 3 carts full of shit and her total was something stupid like. 73 cents all said and done. I am not sure where to post this thought maybe this would be a good place.

So this show...
This lady is according to the narrator "using online forums" to learn this, this bitch just rang up almost 1200 and 9 carts later after coupons, 51 bucks.

If I can learn to grow good dope with "internet forums" I am gonna do this. FUCK YEA to google!

Any ICers do this? Know about it, care to share? Seems like something that would be right up alot of folks alley here.

She went to the store, cased it out, wrote shit down, then went home got online and bought 80 bucks worth of coupons, her total in was about 150 if you round up!

I'm starting to research some of this coupon stuff...anyone else do this? I have a feeling I'm gonna get pretty good at this and be buying carts full of pudding someday. I'm starting to see some of the potential of moneymakers and cash rebates and gift cards and stuff...gonna take some time to find the right deals though.

you do need to jump on the boat. All I can suggest is start collecting sunday papers for a few months. Find yourself a connection that can get you free papers or ads. It's really frustrating missing out on deals because I don't have the coupons. Also there's tons you can print out for free...there's usually a limit..but not if you're proxied

For the sweet deals I've found it's pretty easy to just follow people's blogs or frequent certain coupon forums...the housewives and stuff do most of the work for you...as long as you collect the coupons.

it's actually pretty easy to do once you have a nice backstock of sunday papers...just do searches for couponing blogs and forums and copy what's already figured out...there's enough info out there that's you really don't have to do any "recon" work...you can to try to find other deals..but most of the good ones are posted sometimes before sunday.

There was a crazy cereal and milk deal a bit ago that I wish I woulda cashed in on better...I paid something like 2$ for 3 boxes of cereal, a gallon of milk and some m&m's..only did it 4 times .those deals are rare though....once every month or 2 you can find them. Pretty much every sunday though, you can find a way to stack some coupons and clear a shelf for free of some item that's a buck or 2.

yes,I get grams of bubble for free at my Sac location from online coupons.
my wife and her friend are extreme couponing,they save tons of money and lots of free stuf...we go online to add special coupons to our store card at safeway and sunday papers really work...
felt nerdy at first,BUT a cart full of goodies for very little is great!

way too much work.i hate it when in line at grocery store and the person in front of me pulls out a huge pile of coupons. i try and change cashiers. coupons are too much work

I coupon, but not to the extremes on the coupon show. But you go to couponmom.com, and they break it all down for you. I NEED any money I can save!!!! Wal-Mart does not do double coupons, but they take them for face value. they are the cheapest place for food, but I try to get my meats elsewhere...they glaze their red meats to preserve it, and it's gross. Couponing may take a lil time, but the money I save is so worth it!!!!
