we ve started into week 7 and first brownish hairs emerged, they are drinking ghe ripen only for the last week now(16 oz/day 1,9 ms) and than another week of flushing and a few days without water....now i really count the days till cutting them down, they are so fat yet and i know what the last two weeks will do
pm is under control but still there...

its day 51 and from now on they are drinking pure(PHed) water...
theyare filling out very nicel should be a very good result ...harvest should be in about 8-10 days

ps: i noticed that different types of milk do different results in fighting PM. i experienced best results with organically fed(BiO) skim milk only slightly processed

plants are building towers now
the homogenity of the first days is gone but its a totally filled square where every watt is sucked into the plants, pm seems to be under control, spraying phytamin once a week, and circulation fan is on 24/7,...
any advice on how to deal with pm?
last run i sprayed some chemicals based on Azoxystrobin, some hydrostore guy told me that this would be good but it effected flowering and gave it a bad and filthy turn
donno why i listened to that dumby. also pulled just about 15 ounc.
so i rather somke some all natural mildew instead of filthy chems...

Sulpher vaporizer or burner works on pm so does a solution of potassium bicarb although it causes the pistils to redden. An occasional mist with high ph 8-9 water also slows it down with no adverse affects. Don't use milk it is just well disgusting as yer spraying dairy products on yer herb. good luck.

Hi roof berry, yeah ur right with the 4 inch, u may see on the first post how big they were...
hi highonmt, there are quite a lot of fungizides based on sulfur but i dont really trust them, sulphur is also degrading slowly and i dont want anything in it, i also used bicarb in the last round and i had heavy bud loss, pistils reddened early buds stopped growing for about two to threee weeks,... no good
giving the water a higher ph is actually that what the milk does i think, so u think i should consider using PH+ instead?

its day 56 and i nearly made it...
the plants yellowed nicely, nutrients flushed out good also using enzymes...
now i let them suck out the slabs for another week and get a little dry, the coco is also much more easier to dump when its dry( looses 90 % weight, 120lb to 12lb)

Hey moritzst. I live in a very humid place (90%) and have nothing PM. the answer is lots of air movement and more important, lots of extraction during day/night, never off. dont know if you can make these changes but would help for sure
nice plants BTW keep it green!!

more airmovement d be good i know, 800cbm d be ideal but the sound of blowing out air would be to obviouse, especially when partiing we have a lot of people over and not everybody can be trusted, , also i have the watertanks underneath the plants without any cover, thinking of doing another system next run, maybe dirt, but this will start soonest in november...

that room looks small for 800 cfm. I run the extraction fan 24/7. no humidity issues, and its saving them from the high temperatures this week. I had the air cooled bulb less than 10" away with no sign of over heating. I am not taking chances so I moved it up a few inches anyway.
and I should also note that my fan has a speed control, i have it on the lowest setting and its very quiet. this is the fan i am using http://www.4hydroponics.com/growroom/fans2.asp?ItemNo=maxFanSpeed

thx, i mean i hate to smoke pm of course and there is still some and not to less but the headbuds are nearly free of it... the first run with the same set up was pm free and it was from end of september till december, i really cleaned out everything but this stuff comes back, also depends on the strain i think, the shiva is really bushy and indica style...,now i will do a break and seee whats coming next, i also think that 420 cbm should be enough for one square...
there may be some pm but the quantity of herb seems overwheahlming this time...

Hey i was doing conversion cause my exhaust is measured in m3/h.

So i have total 1060 CFM during lights on, and 530 CFM during lights off. They are two extractors so one shuts down when lights are off.
Inside i have some computer fans (5") and they never stop....
Is it your area too humid??

hey there samba,thx for the flowers,
i start with 220ml per plant/day and go up to 500ml at the end with 25 plants per square...
today they will be chopped down, i ll load some pics...

I'm thinking of having less plants and only 3'x3'.
With a 100L REZ I can still be away about a week, and thats what I'm looking for.

@ samba yeah one week wont be a problem but u should use ph stabelizing ferts, still in one week it will go up from 5,4 to 6,4 wich should be ok. be sure to dial in the system properly before leaving it ....besides, 12L a day is finishing flush maximum.
well i got some harvest pics here,...i will try to get a better cam for some bud shots of the finished product...

Hi there i know im still owing u the pics but i just dont get a proper cam by the hand and there is nothing worse than blurry bud porn...
at least i may tell u the resultz...now that it is totally dry, also fermentet it turned out to be exactly one pound/500g,...not overwhealming i estimated more but the weed is real nice relaxed high, good to chill indica style,... next week i will have a cam and than there will be some final pics
