Have you guys ever came across a grow before?

I've found a few back yard grows while working for a utility company. I knocked on every one of their doors and told them to hide their grow better as they might not be so lucky the next time. The deer in the headlights looks I would get were funny.

I noticed a few new trails going through the area I'm working in a few weeks back. It was on my mind constantly since seeing it. I went out to check on my garden this morning and it looked as someone had driven a Mack truck through the woods.

I followed one of the trails and found about 15 plants. I have no desire to mess with them. Hopefully, if they run across my patch they''ll afford me the same respect.

Have never found, or looked for someone else's garden(s). Have known about quite a few over the years tho.

Never approached or touched a plant that was not mine without permission.

Never would, either.

Kinda sad that too many ppl out there do not share the same ideals...

Peace

I work in the construction field and I get called out on all kinds of service calls. When doing this I have seen several grows. I have even seen a mushroom grow while out on a call, that threw me off guard. Smelled like shit. Here in Cali people seem to be a little less threatened by shit like this, I just kept on working and didn't say a word.

can anyone elaborate on just why it is so easy to spot from the air?

1 plant from 2 miles away, shit that is insane. i have a few small ones in the back yard, keeping them low and out of neighbor's view, but i do see the police helicopter several times a day, i bet the fully know what i have going on in the back yard hahahaha *keeps that medical note close by*

It has nothing to do with color. Cannabis has a specific refractive index (the way it reflects light) that differs from other vegetation. Once you know what to look for, it stands out clearly and is easy to spot. There was a recent thread on this very subject.

I watch wayyyy to many documentaries.

I've found past outdoor grows, that's about it. Then decided if I can find it that easy I need to find a new spot.

I grew up hiking the mountains of western nc and eastern tn and I've run across a couple of active grows. Pretty small. They appeared to be amature. Believe it or not, I've run across more abandoned stills than anything. They can actually be a good find if you're low on water because theyre usually build next to a lime seep. Crazy the shit you find walking through the woods.

Those of you posting
(and being proud of) having ripped grows they have come across...where I lived in Florida you the ripper would have ended up as fertilizer for said plants.
