Exp'd grow having trouble

Hey y'all! I've been growing indoors and out for over 15 yrs now, and organic for about the last 5. I've always popped my own beans and hand selected the best. About 3 mos ago, I grabbed about 6 diff varieties of clones from the local disp. They look pretty good, but on Chemdawg is suffering bad. It started out as the strongest plant, and I was sure it would be the star, but now the stems have lost all their green and are woody looking and weak. I went to pick a dying leaf, and the whole shoot just broke right off. My plants always need sharp scissors for the shoots usually. The most telling sign is the leaves start yellowing right where the stem of the leaf meets the palm/fingers. It's identical on almost all of them, and the plant seems to be heading for the grave. I've never had anything like this happen before, I guess I've been lucky, but any input is greatly appreciated. :thank you:

You should fill out an infirmary questionnaire or post a pic.

Have you changed anything recently or switched brands? pH the water? To what? Over watering? What's your run off pH?

have you inspected the roots?

have you done anything differently this time around?

hope you get it worked out.

btw, great member name:D

Thanks for the quick replies...my camera took a dive and I'm getting a new one delivered to my door tommorow, so I'll try and update with pics. I build the all organic soil and mix everything in before hand, let it cook a few weeks to a month or more and then plant. I top dress, and the only difference this time is that they haven't gotten their normal doses of EWC/alfalfa/molasses tea that I normally make. Just been putting it off making it. I figured I should come here, as I don't do PH measuring and all that other jazz.

Disco Biscuit - Thanks Man! Right back at ya!

Off hand, the only thing I can think of is its something you brought home with the clones. Maybe some kind of internal infection/bacterial/fungal. I'm just shooting in the dark though.

I'm leaning that way too, Sam. I have some PPP from Nirvana that was over 5 yrs old when I popped em in 2009. After clones of clones of clones, they are still kicking everyones ass, both in and out of the growroom. The clones are definitely suspects...I'll post pics ASAP

if your humidity has been high you could have mildew or fungus, a sulphur soap spray might help. Also as stated earlier check the medium for gnats, you might have an aphid problem-sometimes they make it look like the plant is dying(basically being sucked like a leach).

Good luck, Peace

Sounds like it may be a virus or fungal infection, I would get it out of the garden before the rest are affected. We need pics man simple as that. :joint:
