Thanks for the advice guys.

What do you guys think of HTG's LEDs they seem to hit the spectrum about right and their new LEDs have 1watt leds

I would build my own but im not ready for that. Pluse I can't find a company that makes the spectrum I need. Have you guys checked up with the bonsai hero guy. @ Ledgrow.eu

He seems to be on something on the custom led things, but his nugs seem airy. It seems no one can beat the HPS :(

Lumigrow, Lumigrow, Lumigrow, Lumigrow did I mention Lumigrow? :good:

it's not about "beating" either it's about safer, no IR detection, less heat, and more. :canabis:

Question. What put LED girl in the position to rat? was it her online presence? did an online entity have an issue with her and rat, hence the cascade effect? Was She equally hated by LEO as us here online? I did online biz for a loooong time and I was never put in such a predicament.. EVER! Was it her advertising? was it her shitty grow? never saw much of any odor control. Did any of the people who gifted lights for testing, feel any heat? snitch on little hobby grows? who has 100k to gamble on a commercial op that may yield you the same as $10-15k running traditional HID lighting?

I guess I ask how big a fish can LEO get running LEDs so early in the game???

Nah dude. Some guy got in a dispute with "her" about a faulty product. I believe that he shipped it back and UPS lost it and admitted it but "she" insisted on calling the guy a scammer/thief and then called LEO in his state and ratted him out. Fortunately, the guy was legal but he did get a visit. (EDIT: Found the story on another site. UPS was visited by the local sheriff but not the guy. UPS informed them that the guy was legit and that the "woman" filing the complaint was just suffering from "sour grapes.") I believe the story is either on here or another site I used to visit. A lot of people were also looking for "her" from when he was a dude for scamming people with something to do with illegal imported car engines. You couldn't make this shit up!
Oh wait, there was also the bit about "her" lawyers trying to get "her" legal case dismissed once "she" had the surgery by stating that "she" wasn't the person named in the suit because the person they were talking about was a male. LOLOLOLOLOL! Google "Cammie McKenzie" and/or "Cameron Scott Wieldraayer." Same dude.

I have a few of the HTG LED's. You're talking about the ufo's right?

They advertised them as having 1 watt led's but they actually have 45 2 watt led's.

I have only used them for veg so I couldn't tell you about flower, but they work well, certainly for the price. I don't think it's gonna come close in comparison to the top quality led's discussed here, but if you are on a budget then you are on a budget. Do what you can.

Ummm I just bought a light which is very similar to that hydrogrow 126W penetrator from a company called Eshinesystems based in china. Here is a pic so you can judge for yourself where these lights are coming from
Now, this light was supposed to be a 378W model which replaced the 1W dioides for 3's and yes there is a green dioide dead centre in the middle of each of those 8 arrays, maybe 2? Anyway, I tested the 378 they sent and it's maximum pull was 148W now let me see, 126x1W LEDs plus 2 12W cooling fans... wow seems to add up to about that 148W reading I got. Now I have told them to take their light, give me back my money (paypal resolution) and if they expect me to cover the cost of sending it back then I'll just charge back on my card and I'm sure they'll be able to organise a pick up from DHL which they say isn't possible. (which I know for a fact is BS) Now take a good look at the light and tell me these penetrator 126's aren't just bulk bought Eshine 126's with some stickers on them. Honestly if that's not the deal I'm a monkeys uncle (I know, no puns on the handle please) If anyone has any experience with the 357 magum I'd like to hear as I'm probably going to grab one tonight, should be here next week then the show begins. If not I'm still grabbing one as I like the idea of American stuff. Ever since I was a BMX rider all the best shit came outta the U.S (profile 3-piece cranks anyone?) and I'm assuming the light situation will be the same. I grow for myself and the mrs so I'm not after the biggest buds etc. just a good sturdy light that does what it says it will and the 357 doesn't make huge claims but I like that I'll be able to switch between Veg, Flower and full spectrum which I think I'll use for either the first or last half of flower and Veg as needed. I'll get to know the light anyway and then we'll see. Anyway, I'll be starting a 357 magnum show in a cpl of eeks so I'll keep you all updated.

Thanks for the info, how much did the unit run? After all I am on a budget. and which site did you contact them from? They don't seem to have a solid home page when I searched them up.

Oh yeah before I even bother did you try it out? The Magnum seems like its not worth it for that price i would just go lumi grow since a lot of people recommend it.

yeah I'm running it right now over my baby plants week and a half old seedlings and they are loving it. I actually saw an improvement in the past cpl of days but I have it up high as I'm worried about too much light exposure if thats possible. Tried the Lumigrow site and it's down. How much do they cost?

You know this is a touchy subject I guess as I would really like to move away from lights as I think they are fucking up my eyes and I have had enough of paying the bills on lights. But yeah I do like the outcome so I would like to see something happen where they figure something out here. I'm sick of being part of the problem instead of part of the solution ....peace out Headband707

^^^ interesting design concept, coldfireled was working on something similar, a modular setup so you can place the light more directly where you'd want it

i imagine using kessils or other "spot" light type of led lamps on bendy neck holders would be an awesome way to go

lol i am using a couple of my sunshine systems glowpanel 45 led lamps in a similar manner, they are kind of small so i just angle them in where i want them to supplement

If anyone is going to buy a Lumigrow ES make sure you call them or email and tell them you want a discount I think they sell them for a few hundred off the published price on their website and if you buy more than one they will absolutely make a deal. My buddy just bought 2 on my recommendation and I think he said he got them for $1200 ea. Not cheap compared to HID but much cheaper than a FLIR detection or fire. :canabis:

^^^ I don't know how they deal on the ES165, but the price from Greners is substantially below the price that Lumigrow shows for it on their web site.
