How to get good yield from urkle?

Alright.. last time I ran a ton of tops and got a decent yield.. this time i ran two tops and got a horrible yield..
i normally get 3 zones from ladies like chemd that are flowered at 18".. i flowered urkle at 24" and got 1 1/2 zones.. lol
im thinking about vegging to 30" or so with 6-8 tops, hardcore lolipopped.. whatcha think?
how r u getting good yields from purple urkle?

i never got the lolypopping thing...seems like so much wasted veg time...why not just run a tight sog? i have never had the pleasure of growing urkel but when it comes to low yeilders like og kush i get the best yield with a tight low sog, i'm spacing og between 4-5 inches apart and flowering once i transplant to the flower bed, i run sog on all my strains but i seem to get my lower yielding strains to perform the best this way, while i can actually get a similar/better yield on some strains growing bushes, but since im set up for perpetual beds, and bushes in my beds would shade out the shorter sog plants i'm content to keep it all sog. i guess if you want to keep your plant count low it's not the best, once i get both my beds planted and my perpetual in full gear i'll have 40 plants in a 24"X40" grow space...

THANK YOU SENORSLOTH...DONT LOLYPOP NOTHING... VEG her ass for 2 months and she should get you at least 4 ounces each. She used to do it for me, rock hard nuggs, and smoking!!!!

Speed up your veg time with the addition of co2, lots of light and temps around 80. Train to 6 strong tops early and you will be pleased. Not a great yielder and slow as hell to start with. This is the only way we got it to do much... All just opinions though

Problem was probably the hardcore lollipopping. Best thing about purps is how the nugs fill out so dense from top to bottom. They may not get huge but there won't be any fluff.

sounds interesting. I use T5 lighting, 77 degree temps, and no CO2. I am looking to get better growth in veg, can you go into more detail bushdoctor?

We used 75 wpsf of hps lighting. 750-1000ppm of co2 and 80 degree temps to speed things up a bit (what plant wouldn`t)! Reduce the temps to 72 day 65 night when the stretch is done and watch the colors pop...
