Hey guys, its been about 6 months since i have posted anything new towards my cab. My life lately has been pretty hectic. New job,gf etc etc. But i finally got to work on the cab. In my last grow i was using a 100hps with the 2 55w pll's. But this time i ditched the 100hps that was cooltubed and now im just using the Pll's. Which gave me alot! more room. Also a more even light spread. I made a hood for them, i can fit one more 55w pll in there. but im going to see what 110w in 1.7sq will produce. Also since its summer my ambient room temps are around 80. So i already have that going against me. The tall plant on the right is a Apollo 11 clone my buddy hooked me up with. It was alot bigger then he made it out to be. So what im going to do is top it, cut down about 6 nodes then i will use the top as a clone. I will also do the same with the plant to the left of it. Which is a pineapple clone from when i grew it out back last fall. The other two small plants are aroma clones. Which i also grew out last fall and gave my buddy clones. Anyways enough ranting. Just wanted to say im glad to be back!

So i got around to topping both the aroma and the apollo 11 today. I used the tops and some side branches for some clones. I am just going to try the water method. See what happens, i have never tried this method before. Now i just need to figure out how many i want in there.

That is a nice cab you got there struck.Is the reflector safe using cardboard and zip ties?

yeah the zip ties will not burn. The pll does not get that hot. As for the cardboard, i actually put some insulation between the mylar tape and the lights. So it should not be a problem.

Thanks guys! The plants started to pick up growth again since i topped it about a week ago. They both are starting to really take off. The clones that i have in just plain water are also still looking very green and healthy. They will be going into my pc case with a 18wcfl. So Then i can start to flower the apollo11 and the aroma.

Hey guys sorry i have not been updating like i usually do. Just been way to busy. But as for an update, Both plants are about 20 days into flower. I have had temp problems since the beginning, constant mid to high 80s. But i finally got a portable Ac unit for the room. So now its set at 75! I have also had problems with them wanting more and more food. I think the main problem is they were already 3 months old when i got them... All 10 clones survived and are in my pc case. I just got around to making a bubble cloner so im going to hack all the lower remaining branches and see if i can clone them. I will try to keep updating more often! thanks for stopping bye!

Day 37 of 12/12. The apollo 11 should finish by 45 to 50 days, then the pineapple is around 55 days.

So I decided to harvest a few days ago. I haven't had that much time to keep this updated. so i apologize. I have not weighed it yet. Figure i will wait till after 2 weeks of curing. But it smells so fruity. I am also impressed on how frosty they are. The plants were never in the best shape since i got them from a friend. But i think i will keep using the PLL's. Thanks for stopping by. I will post back in a few weeks with weight.

Here is a little update on my latest grow. I made some changes. I added 2 more 55w PLL's. So now i have 2 2700k and 2 6500k. I had a 6in booster fan for exhaust but it was not strong enough. So i ended up getting a 6in centrifugal fan, hooked up to a speedster. I have it running at medium and is pretty quite. The temps usually hover around 78 to 80. The tiny sprout on the left is ch9 pineapple. The other on the right is female seeds cinnamon. Thanks for stopping by. I will keep this updated as much as i can.

Well nothing new really. The seedlings are taking off. They are about a week old. The pineapple had some weird leaves growing. But im sure it will be fine once it gets older. The cinnamon seems to grow right infront of my eyes lol. later guys

very cool! im interested in pll growing as it seems to be very space efficent, hope you keep this updated often
