They are the EFFICIENCY kings hands down. Pretty decent list but there are some other very popular contenders that are missing (IMO)

Supreme Vaporizer is another one of my favs. Its like having an SSV/DBV thickness in a portable. (This thing is MADE for bongs or being a portable)

i have an iolite, it's my favorite that i have tried.

to be honest in my opinion as long as you are getting pure vapor in decent enough quantity, they are mostly the same, in the same way that most glass pipes are the same, sure chambers, choke holes, glass thickness and a million other things vary but for the most part if you smoke the same weed through 2 different pipes it's pretty easy to get the same exact high.

this is what i noticed when i first got my iolite, (it was the first vaporizer i had tried besides keif in a light bulb) i was a little disappointed, sure the unit is portable, quiet, completely professional looking to the point nobody can tell it gets you high, cheep, and makes your weed taste AMAZING, i didn't get as high as i was expecting. i still enjoyed it very much but wasn't planning on recommending it, that was until i tried a volcano and then, later, a few large no name box types and one that kinda looked like a gum ball machine...i now realize that vaping is just a different high, it's not as powerful, but the high seems warmer, smoother, like an electric blanket in the winter...great high for relaxing, but unless i fill it with pure keif im not gonna get retarded on any vaporizer.

the volcano impressed me with how fast if fills the balloons up, but in the end it costs a rediculas amount of money for what you actually get and i feel that i can get almost as high with my iolite as i can with the volcano or any other vap, it's not so much about the smoking devise, it's about how much vapor gets into your lungs and how fast you can get more in...sure with the volcano you can vaporize a huge bowl of keif, fill an enormous bag of vapor, and huff it down as fast as you can...and to an extent yeah that will get you higher, but i can get pretty close by just taking many more smaller hits of keif off my iolite.

the Genie gives huge white dense vape hits that rival a milky bong hit, no lie or exaggeration. yes I use a butane lighter but it's always a blue pencil flame type w/my favorite Vector Quintuple (5Xs) refined butane, btw as a test I pulled in a straight butane hit (no weed in the chamber) and exhaled not even a wisp of smoke or vapor.

those huge clouds of vape I exhale are 99.44% pure vape, I never burn or scorch the weed in the chamber either, it's always dumped out as a light brown colored 'duff'.


I have not tried the Hakko ceramic element on the Genie yet but am tempted, I'm sure that w/an adjusted draw I can pull enough heat over the weed to accomplish perfect vaporization.

Plus Juan man. I have gifted SOOOO many VG's its not funny. The VG is still one of my favs due to its simplicity (with a micro torch its off the chain) I just hate passing it around as most people are clueless on how to properly hit it (and its so easy to combust with) But yes, ALL experienced vaporists should have a VG in their rotation.

i guess i am in a similar situation in that i have only tried an iolite and now a mflb this past weekend. i was assuming a volcano would be a step up in the high, but maybe not...

the vriptech looks like it gives the biggest bong type hits, which in my mind tells me i would get ripped just like smoking. is that not true?

can you get a strong indica type high from vaping?

edit- well they dont sell them for weed really, some clubs sell pre loaded ones full of hash oil made with glycerin but it looks like its hard to fill up the nicotine ones with the glycerin based oil

I beg to differ, and I would venture to say that the lot of experienced vaporists would disagree with you bud. Sure it might not deliver in the 'thick milk hits' that smoking converts are used to, but that little box packs quite the punch and does it with little herb.

There has been much discussion about the e-cig route, but the general consensus is you have to have a specialized atomizer otherwise it gets clogged rather quickly.
Nicotine is a salt and is water soluable which is why its to easy to make the e-cig juice.
BHO and concentrate isnt (as) water soluable - better yet Propelyne Glycol/Vegetable Glycerin soluable. This is the medium used in e-cigs

AGBeer, hey yeah i saw that glycerin based info, one site actually had cartridges you can buy and load yourself with homemade liquid (i.e. glycerin with thc)


as far as the mflb, it is my opinion, nothing more nothing less, that that things is more gimmick and just hard for people who may actually be using vaporizing for health reasons as its not the most user friendly. I like and use the no2 from vapir, i have owned a volcano and its pretty much as good as that imo. I also like the heat gun method...um yeah im a sucker for thick vapor hits!
