Hey Coco Growers...I'm thinking of going to straight Coco. While the mix I've been using is great for nursery plants, I'm begining to think it's less than ideal for cannabis.

The brands up for consideration ATM are-
Atami B'cuzz Coco 50Liter
BioBizz Coco-Mix 50L bag

I'm doing a test right now between the Bcuzz, Biobizz, Botanicare, and Roots Organics.. Granted the Roots Organics is not pure coco, it is still considered a coco mix... All I have to say is HOLY SHIT, the Roots coco mix is destroying all the other cocos.. I am running whole 3x3 trays with nine 3 gal pots squeezed in there of each coco... So I'd say it's def a fair comparison.. I will be forever switching up to the Roots coco.. AND there is so much perlite in the RO mix that once you water it a good couple weeks, it creates a nice 1/2"-1" of perlite on top and keeps all the unwanted bugs away! Just some food for thought... PEACE!

I used to use perlite in my coco but they dry out a little to fast and I only like watering once if you a day. Growtech the bcuzz is the shit but its pretty pricey if you do 5 gallon plants.

Cool, thanks for the input. I'm going to try doing some Hempy Buckets....2 inches of hydroton in the bottom for drainage and then aprx 3 gal of Coco on top

It seems of the 3 I listed BioBizz is the only one thats cheaper

(I'm using hydroton cuz I already have buckets of it and supposedly the hempy buckets work best if you use something other than coco in the bottom 2" which is the rez portion of the bucket)

These girls have been moved around a bit for security reasons. I'm pretty sure the brown pistils are due to physical damage

I just tried a sample of that Hero OG that is floating around. Definitely not the Hero I was hoping for, but it aint the worst i've ever seen. Has a bit of a hazy spicy smell and I hit it first thing in the mornin to be fair. Definitely felt some trichs in there. Not a keeper for me though, but I wouldn't pull it if I had one half way done either...
