Nice selection of strains BudMuncher!

About defoliating fan leaves, do I remember wrong or is it generally a bad idea to remove fan leaves while the plants are in the stretching stage (first 2-4 weeks), especially if you remove a lot at the same time?

I have an insane amount of fan leaves in my current setup that I'd love to remove but I'm afraid it will stress them and hold back stretch? How are your plants reacting to this?

I could be wrong, anyways happy growing! :)

Not sure how many weeks in but Eagle 20 is the shisssnitt. I went from the worst case of Powdery Mildew to none. It really works best as a preventative. 21 day residual and it works from the inside out. I wouldn't use it late in flower. BTW I love the simple nut schedule. Do you worry about lock out with the superthrive. I heard of problems. I use it only during transplant and shock. Lookin good bro.

I'm not really sure about it stressing them and I reall y have nothing to compare with since I've plucked on them all.But from what I've read it does have an impact on vertical lighting yields. Not sure about horizontal. If i see a leaf blocking a bud sight I move it. If I cant move it I pluck it. Makes me happy:jump:

I've never heard of any problems with superthrive but I will look into that. Hopefully this Green Cure will work for me as I'm on a tight budget.:tiphat:Thanks for stopping by.

Day 21 of 12/12

Day 21 of 12/12

Well the new fan and the Green Cure combo has worked so far. I still need to get a bigger fan but for now its good.

Hit'em with a 1/2 tsp KB today with the reg mixture this morning and the girls are looking happy.

I do see a cpl that could prob use a lil more N as they are a little light green. Still healthy.

And I've had some lil knats flying around the coco.I have some pest strips that are working all right.Dont know where they came from though.Maybe the coco but I'm not sure.Little bastards!

The room is in the high 70's
30% humidity
5-6 weeks left

This coco grow has been pretty easy for me. I did my homework beforehand. I made a plan and I'm sticking with it.

Killerweed, go for it bro. Coco is the shit!!

I cut some clones a cpl weeks ago, put them in the coco and had roots popping out the top 5 days later.
It was my first time!!
1/4 strength maxi and dipped them in clonex gel. Simple and done!

Those will be round 2. And it will be a vert stadium with at least 3 sides filled in. Im looking forward to that one real bad. I picked up some 3 gallon pots for cheap. $14 for like 45 of them with the trays!

Simple and cheap makes this gardner very happy.

Update 28 days 12/12

Update 28 days 12/12

So its 4 weeks down and everything is looking real nice.

I have one that has a little yellowing so I flushed it twice yesterday with just phed water and then fed regular today.
Theres a little tip burn on all of them after giving them KB at 1/2 tsp last week.

Ive still got a few fungus knats flying around but I'm winning that battle.

Nice and frosty and smelling real sweet in there.

I found out last week that I dont have Bubblegum but I do have 5 Orange Crush and 1 Sour 47 from the first batch of clones.
Then there's 4 White Rhino 1 HDF and 1 Raw Diesel.

The OC looks to be a decent yeilder so far and has a great sweet smell.
Sour 47 is lanky but very frosty. Some of the bigger leaves have frost to the tips.:)
WR not as stinky and is packing on the buds.
HDF looks like at least a 9 weeker. It has a cpl real nice buds on it.
Raw Diesel is also lanky but has some nice buds forming. The leaves are nice and dark green.Very healthy and frosty.

I need to figure out how to post my pics differnet cause its making me erase some to upload more.

35 days 12/12

Hit them with another 1/2 tsp KB this morning. They're starting to phatten up a bit. Getting some nice colas. Very frosty.
The Orange Crush seems to be the stinker of the bunch. I have 5 of those.
My Diesel is falling all over the place. I need to get some stakes to keep it upright.
Sour 47 is finally getting some nugs on it. It's lanky but sturdier than its cousin. And sugar coated to the max!
White Rhino has some spear shaped buds.Nice and frosty.
HDF has buds everywhere. Gonna be a lot of trimming on that one when its finished.

I'll get some pics up for my 50th post.:tiphat:

Dude your pics are sweet , wish mine were 1/4 that good .dude ... your gonna love that orange crush if you haven't tried it yet . its a staple in my grow room & prolly will for years ... i get people asking for that more than the sour diesel . it just tastes & smells sooooo good !

i've got 2 comin out of the room about the 12th .... i can't wait cuz i haven't had any of it to smoke in a couple months .

heres a blurry pic ( my camera skills suck ! ) of 2 orange crush in 2 gallon hempys of perilte & vermiculite . they're about 6 weeks when that pic was taken .
the reason that pic was taken was to show someone what spidermite damage looks like on the leaves but i couldn't get a clear enough pic with my shitty camera .

camperpics176.jpg

these pics were from the last grow of them about 6 months ago ( sorry about the HPS light ) these were about the 4th or 5th week .

yeah I cant wait to smoke the OC. Ive already tried it before but Im looking forward to smoking my own.
Those pics look good. looks like some good bud.chunky at 5 weeks.

Glad you like my pics. Sorry to say that camera was broken by my boy. So unless I can borrow a camera...... It was a nikon coolpix.Nuttin to flashy. I'll figure something out though. I hate it when a good thread isn't finished.

Just picked up some florakleen and flushed the girls this morning. I'll feed again tonight.
I figure I'll feedem full strength till the end of next week then half strength the following week and a good flush to finish them off. I'm moving at the end of the month to my new spot so they will be coming down.

Its looking like I'm keeping the Orange Crush and the White Rhino around for a reveg but the rest will prob be dropped. The sour 47 looks like maybe an ounce if that. It is some lemon diesel funk though. It prob does better untopped too.

I cant wait to get this grow/move over with and start popping some seeds. I have some really good genetics from 04 and 05 to work with. Godbud from Jordan of the Island and Blackspice from Spice bros. Both are A+ smokes and the God is a great yeilder. Not to mention the other genetics im going to pick up.Seedbay has an excellent selection with affordable prices. I'm excited.

im jealous =)

but ya just read through your thread; job well done, not much to add. you have some healthy, lush plants and your well on your way to a happy harvest :ying:

i too have battled with fungus gnats on and off growing in coco; i finally whipped their assess when i ordered some gnatrol and began adding it to my reservoir 24 hours before watering; i found the gnatrol to be about 10 times more effective than the mosquito dunks; couldn't find any locally i got mine from eBay.
