What's new

Aero-NFT-Led Medical

This is my actual first grow. I have been researching for about 2 years in the fine art of cannabis cultivation. I have a aero nft setup. i am running two four in tubes that have the option of three plants per tube. i have 4 90w tri-band led's. i am adding extra light with a 125w cfl. i have a sub pump 600 gpm that pushes all the 1/4 lines that have the 360 sprayer heads. there are two sprayers for every site. the tubes drain into my rez holder slash kegarator. it keeps the temps nice and its not plugged in. i have rez temps at around 60 to 70 degrees all the time. the nute line is a 3 part system the name escapes me now. the cycle i run is 1 min on for 7 min off. they seem to love it. the ppm varies according to how old the plant is. now they are at about 930 ppm and loving it. i run my ph high at the end so they have max opportunity for nute uptake. i love questions so bring them on and any help would be most appreciated.

They look a little stretchy, nothing some training couldn't counter. You should consider using SCROG at probably 2/3 height level your plants are right now. Even if the LED buds won't be as big as people know from HID bud shots they will be very sticky.

some more from the ladies

They look like growers first time plants. I would be pretty happy with the results as the yield is not the first thing to think about for the first times even though most people just can't think about nothing else. For me they look a bit small but have potential to grow some sweet weed.

62f could be a bit too cold for your girls, try to keep them just a little warmer and see if anything happens. I would keep them at 65-72f.

they look small cause they went from establishing roots straight to flower zero veg time. its crazy to think they have another 4 to 5 weeks of bud growth to put on.

Yeah I love watching the flowers grow, and with your hydro setup hopefully you'll see some real fast growth. I dunno how low res temps can safely go. I ran a DWC on my balcony last winter and cold res temps definitely affected yield, I don't remember now just how cold they got, might have been all the way down in the 50's. Hopefully NFT is a little more forgiving in that regards. I hear aquarium heaters are inexpensive. Might be kind of late for a scrog, but definitely next time. Good luck on this one, they'll surely be the most delicious and satisfying buds you've ever smoked.

thanks for the advice guys most appreciated. is there anything i should be looking for or doing? it seems like they grow themselves, im not sure how the soil crowd has done all that changing and shit for so long. goozman what strains are you running i am looking for a quick turn around plant that i can cycle what would the aero or hydro people suggest.

Carbo loader is awesome. the buds really seem to be able to take up nutes very quickly now i will have pics tomorrow the trainwreck is getting fat and sweet. harvest in only 3 short weeks i am pumped then on to the water cure they go.
