Help Please plant stem dying?

Hi everyone,

I need some help asap. This is my only plant and when it was a seedling its stem broke. I planted the broken part an inch under the soil. Now the plant is about a month old and cannot support itself. I would like to ask you if I should :

1:leave it like it is and secure the stem so it will stay upright.
2:cut the stem like a clone and root it again.

This is worth mentioning too:
When the plant was a seedling it was always socked in water in a plastic cup without holes. White fungus has been growing there and the other 4 plants didnt germinate. Everything seems to be fine now but the stem and roots might be sick also :(

I appreciate your help.

If you're a new grower you could re-cut it and clone it. It will give you the practice.
But it would be easier to apply a little bit of rooting gel and bury it. I do it all the time and it works great for shortening long stem plants or busts like yours.

However: Personally I would pop a few more seeds and run em out since you don't even know if that is a male or a female. You may be going thru all the BS of saving that one only to discover it's a male. Unless it's an extraordinarily hard to find strain and a priceless seed then it just isn't really worth the extra time and effort for a single seedling.

hy bro, my advice is live the plant like this and hope they turn out good, but maybe you popped a couple more strains or try cut this put some gel rooting and repotted, but if you live the plant like now you put some soil up the broke point you no and before this give them some gel rooting, maybe help the new grow!!!

Thanks for your help guys.
This is my second grow and the first time I had 100% success, this is the first time I encountered problems.
The strain is Iranian Autoflower from Dr. Greenthumb and its feminised.
The problems started when I had a mate look after them after germination and they were overwatered.
My friend gave me some seeds and his ones are already into flowering so its probably too late to cut the stem :(

I have faith in the plant though as the leaves are pointing up and healthy in colour.

I will take your advice and leave it as it is.

About the rooting gel:
If I want to get new roots to grow do I need to shave the stem or just apply it directly?
I have a hardware store near by so ill try get the gel. If its not available will powder do the job?

Thanks again,

Yeah, i agree with Stress_test. I would bury the exposed roots and the curved part of the stem almost to the bottom set of leaves so the plant stands upright. She doesn't look that bad, i've seen much worse survive and thrive.
Good luck with your grow.

looks like you got some good advice! to prop the seedling gently jam it between a coupla rocks. eventually the roots will grow enuf to support the plant without the rocks.
