if some strains are yellowing and some aren't it could just be that some of your strains are more sensitive to whats going on.

Do you know the PH of the runoff?

If you were feeding the Ocean forest soil from the get-go chances are the best gameplan will be to skip feeding and just water on the plants showing stress. If there is a lockout due to nute buildup though it'll hopefully show up as a low PH on the runoff, which will be good to get an idea of on the healthier plants as well since they may eventually show the same stress as nutes build up faster than they're being uptaken.

DGR, the photo you showed its like the plant thats right over top of the yellow card, but a lil more dermatic yellow, but after a couple of days its goes away and then the new shoots opening has the yellowing all over again. ya just like that plant thats over the yellow card.it has the yellow on the outer edges of the leaves.like tie die.

greenluv,
I grabbed that pic from a thread in the Coco forum. It wasn't a thread about deficiencies.
I don't think there is anything wrong with your plants. Are they in stretch right now? When some of mine grow rapidly, the new growth comes out light green and then darkens right up. Here is the description of Ca deficiency:
:Young leaves are affected first and become small and distorted or chlorotic with irregular margins, spotting or necrotic areas. :
My guess is that it is a minor transport issue and not a deficiency. The plants can't move the calcium fast enough to the growth tips. Again, it's only a guess. I would think a very mild foliar with calcium chloride would enable you to hit just the plants you are concerned with. But I would have to research the concentration.

Maybe you could hit up YosemiteSam or Spurr and see what they think of my opinion? Those guys know their salts.

Hopefully others will give their input on this.
