i really only trim up the bottoms a bit. i leave a lot of plant on to do their thing. 98% of whats on the plant gets jarred up. the little thats left becomes BHO.

Hey Phillthy, I been following your grow for a while now, not sure I ever posted. Absolutely love your results, love it enough that I chose to mimic your soil mixture for my current grow. I'm currently in veg and having a problem with leaf clawing (over nute) on a few plants, only one has any leaf tip burn, though. My soil mixture is nearly identical to yours with two differences, the mix is as follows -

1 bale ProMix HP (not BX)
2 bags FFOF
1 CUFT coir
2 bags NSPB

I opted for HP over BX for the additional perlite as I generally grow sativas and they like the extra drainage. Sativas are also typically lighter feeders, so I added the 1 cuft of coir to try to mellow out the mixture a little.

What would you recommend in my situation? I'm vegging in 2 gallon grow bags, and still have to transplant to the final 5 gallon container. Should I lighten the mix by mixing in some additional soil before transplanting? Leave 'em in the full strength? I don't have any experience with NSPB so I figured I'd ask someone who does. It's already mixed into 1 cuft more than you use.

i would leave it full strength. i have one or two strains that will curl but it never affects the finished product. you should see great results with the NSPB man.
