Time for a picture update. My girls are at day 42 and happy as clams. I added some netting to the cheese side and thinned quite a bit. I had a few of the Coughs on the left side, top shelf, fall over and have since tethered them to the rack. They grew right through the netting as well but are holding their own at this point.

For my first vertical run I am pleased but have indeed learned a ton and will continue to refine as I go. And choose different strains.

Here's some images from this morn.

blumats look like they are doing a great job any probs to report run aways ect or all cool?

I would loose a few fan leaves that are blocking the direct light from the buds behind them and also pull that first plant on the right threw the front net to get the main cola as close as you can to the light....:D

other than that mate things are looking great starting to fill in nicely now... get this run out the way cant wait for your next run its going to be killer... :pimp3:

keep up the good work and updates coming....

great looking stadium grow, it's coming along nicely! :smoke: .... so how do you find those buckets on the pulleys, do they work well for you, or if you had to build them again, would you change anything?

Thanks LL. The Blumats are working perfectly. No issues to speak of. No runaways or clogged lines. I do pull on the drip lines every now and again just to make sure they aren't clogging but I have been using drip clean as well. Seems to be an incredibly easy and reliable system. I might switch to a sturdier res because the cheap rubbermaid tote and the pump have a loud hum, especially when the water level is low.

Definitely pulling a few leaves here and there and can't wait to dive into round 2 as well. Thanks for the kudos!

Thanks Five. Buckets are working well. I have left the room with them down forgetting to raise them back up so I am trying to figure out how to remind my forgetful self. I also tried lowering them to the ground to raise the lights and got tangled in the aircraft cable trying to step through. Won't do that again. Might be good to have a hook on the ceiling to swing them to but it isn't really an issue. I do get lazy and don't put them down all the time. Maybe there is a way to rig them so they come down automatically when I open the door. :jump: or a remote control. Or the clapper!

Cheers Mega. Buckets are indeed to keep me from burning my face or going blind. I can be a clumsy f-ck and I'd rather bump into the cans than the bulbs.

Thank ya! I have been to the Zappateers site but it's been a while. Thanks for the reminder. I have been a downloading fiend in the past and have cut myself off. Nice to have access to some amazing and brilliant music on the web. A digital genetic seed bank sounds like a fine idea. Coupled with an organic, 3D printer - print your own seeds?

I have thought of the coco approach but I am getting tired of paying for nutes so I may try the beefy soil mix and plain h2o like Laylow is starting with his new horizontal grow. I love the idea of dripping plain water. I'd like to eventually give coco a whirl though.

You've got good hands mate, hanging around for the win :) I think you should give coco a go, coco at it's best won't be any better on nutes though. Coco drip system 3 feeds per day (around a litre per plant, per feed), and 5 feeds in flower. The plants EXPLODE.

Grazie HGO! I have seen others show off that Coco explosion but my wallet needs to explode as well! Cheers - thanks for stopping by!

Good afternoon. Today is officially Day 59 and half of the Raspberry Cough has been chopped. Trichromes were just spotted with a little amber here and there. I left 5 others to bask for another couple days and mature a bit more. The Cheese is going to sit for at least a few more weeks (i think).

I am amazed at how healthy these plants have looked right up until the end. My previous grows weren't quite dialed in and I stressed plants with low temps, under watering and eventually PM. Mildew is obviously something that would cause plants to look awful and drop leaves. After relying on Blumats to water and feed for me I realize that my previous issues were more often than not self inflicted.

I left one Raspberry plant out of the Blumat loop and sat it on top of my res. I let it get under watered almost on purpose but not drastically. Basically I wanted to see the results of a lazy approach like I had done in the past. Letting leaves droop a little every now and then. I had a blumat line running to it with a knot tied in the end but I didn't install a cone. Every now and then I would pull the tubing off of the "t" and water that one plant that way. Or simply hand water. It looked like shit compared to the rest of the plants.

I will post a few images later this evening.

Peace.

Just finished trimming up the last of the Raspberry I had left sitting for a few extra days. Thrichs were cloudy to amber - definitely riper than the first seven I cut down earlier in the week. So I don't mean to be a slacker with images - too f-in' busy to keep up with all my promises. Time to under promise from here on out.

So let's back up a few weeks and throw a few pics around. These are from around day 50 or so.

Leaves starting to claw a little possibly due to a complete shift in nutes. Never did burn or drop leaves though.

I added some compact fluors. in the back to make a few hidden buds happy. But these monsters grew way bigger than I ever expected and could have easily benefited with a room all to themselves or an extra 3000W.

I found a few shrooms growing here and there in my soil towards the end. I am sticking with the assumption that this is a positive sign of nutrient rich soil. Seems that the Roots Organic soil tends to breed a few of these here and there.

Round two around the corner. Peace peeps!

Next batch of pics from last from a few days back when I decided to chop the Raspberry down. Smells like heaven around here.

Remember the seedlings I popped early in this thread. They have been relocated from the deck into a private, pallet oasis. Hopefully the summer will actually gain a little momentum here in the PNW and these babies will throw some weight around.

I took cuttings off of these last week and they will be my next stadium experiment. These are Nirvana Safari, Critical and a couple KC33 x MasterKush. One if the Safari's is a beautiful purple pheno. Nine girls hoping for maturity.

Chop ready!

I left this one to amber up a little. Chopped tonight.

Digging in.

The raspberry is all officially trimmed and hanging. Clones are rooting and pallets are hosting some summer happiness. See ya later gator. Thanks for stopping by! Time to plan the phishin' trip. :biglaugh: :chin:

Made it easy to move the drip line to different spots in the pot. The shop I frequent has these plant tags with a hole already in them that is the exact dimension of the tube. Loved the Blumats. Worked like a champ.
