sensi skunk #1 feminized

I'm looking for info about this strain because i'm growing 5 of these and i'm wondering how long they take to flower. It's said to be 55-65 days, they are at 40 days and i'm not sure they will be ready in 25 days. They seem to be very sativa'ish, ...
Anyone who know this "famous" strain ...
Thanks

When it comes to skunk go by the hairs. You want them to be orange.

You should upload a pic. Also they are very sensitive to light.. keep light leeks away or you get get nanners.

The breeders flowering times are usually counted from when the plant starts to flower, not when the cycle gets changed to 12/12. Makes sense, if you start a seed under 12/12 you wouldn't expect it to finish in 60 days so counting from when flowering starts is the way to go.

I thought about the flowering time and normally is equal to 12/12 days. Not the days of blooming from first hairs...
I saw on the GHS website a video, i think it's about their cheese, and they say they are at the 4th week of flowering and the buds are quite done, big, compact, and quite full. I think that in this case it's not 4 weeks of 12/12 but really 6 weeks of 12/12.

BUT if i have to add 14 days to the 65 days ( as it is stated ) it's 80 days of 12/12 and the skunk is told to be a fast flowering strain, and for me 80 days is not for a fast strain.

i had not seen your post seeyouanty !

Yeah, add 2 weeks to the flowering time.

John locke, im pissed at sensi because my Early skunk fems were awful things, males, herms and females!

but ive grown Skunk 1 from sensi several times although i wouldnt grow anything femmed. The Skunk 1 is damn good weed reguardless of other issues. In fact, i often wonder how it gets diminished and many other popular type strains cant hold a straw to its vigor or potency. fully matured it is truly ass kicking.

Vigorous as hell, outdoors it jumps to 12' with a big yield.
70 days from the appearance of flowers in my book.

Never tried Sensi's Skunk 1 although many people complains about Sensis quality nowadays... why not to try Seedsman or Sam Skunkman's The pure aka Skunk 1??

peace.

i send a few bad pics, but you can see how they are at 40 days ...

There are 5 plants overcrowed in a 1 square meter tent, 5 plants = 5 different pheno ; One could be done at 65 days but the more stretchy one sure not ready at 65 days, except if they swell fast in the last week ...

They begin to drink less than usual and they have 3 weeks to go at least ...

Hello JL!
My Skunk #1 plants were harvested after 56 days 12/12. Only a few trichomes turned amber at this time. Pistils were mostly orange.

^^

I grew my plants more than two years ago. All in all it was a satisfactory smoke. A nice mix of relaxing (body) yet activ (head) high. Not especially strong but really pleasent. I used to smoke this weed while drawing and I was totally engrossed in my little scribbles. IMO Sensis Skunk #1 was a good choice.

BTW I recently popped some other Sk beans... :blowbubbles:

You go by the trichomes. Highest THC content is when trichomes are mostly cloudy.
When you start to see amber, it is time to cut, unless you enjoy couchlock/sleep weed.

Hello,
i put a little update at 48 days of 12/12 : Some are quite ready, on the right, but on the left it's still slim...
On 5 plants, i've got only one of the most indica pheno, shorter, fatter and short flowering. And 4 that are quite slim, tall and long flowering. Is it a sign of stability or of no stability?
The typical skunk pheno is short flowering time, i guess ...
