week 4? thats a bit too early i would of thought, i've used it when the buds were all swelled up and they did thicken quite a bit, probably week 6-7, i only used it for 2 weeks though as it was going to mess up my flush..but i did notice an increase within a few days of using it.

What's shooting powder mean't to do, I've never heard of it.
I wouldn't get to carried away with some of the shit you see in Bunnings and places like that.
I just stick with a pretty basic nutrient regime. I generally feed my mother plants just on Seasol, clones too.
In hydro I use pretty basic 2 pack nutes, only flowering formulas though, cos my clones go straight on to 12/12....SOG's.
Works for me.

shooting powder is a weight booster, i'm not exactly sure how it works but it's not a pk booster, they are pretty secretive about letting out whats in it, quite a few people swear by it, and from little experience i can say it works quite well..that being said they expect you to use it for 3 weeks after the plants have swelled up, and that usually gets into my flushing time, that being said i think using 1 sachet for 1 week would help quite alot, i noticed an increase in size within a few days after using it, from there i didn't see much more change..
i like H&G, strong mix and it's not a bad price, seems to do great for me, i really rate the root exculerator and bud xl, these are 2 products i can really notice a difference in...
the budxl adds a little weight, but what i really like about it is the extra smell/taste it brings out in the buds..root exculerator on the other hand will give you atleast 2x the root mass in a deep water system, still blows me away how well this product works on the roots, and it damn well should for the price of it!
