nasty smelling hash..

I wish I could have gotten a pic of this, but that wasnt about to happen..

I was recently offered a block (probably about an oz) of hash, supposedly bubble hash made from trainwreck.

Now I have made my own bubble plenty of times before, and it always has this pleasent hashy smell that you cant get enough of. When pressed, it would turn a dark brown color on the outside, but when it was broken open it was still a light color brown inside, and the inside was also very uniform.

Now the stuff I was offered first off had a small that was pungeant, and slightly repulsive. It made me turn my nose away (usually I cant get enough of smelling hash). When I broke it open, the inside was not uniform, but had tons of air pockets in it.

I turned it down, based on smell alone..Just wondering if anyone else has seen stuff like this, or if I made a mistake in turning it down...

No mistake. I have never heard of "swiss cheese" style hash. It almost sounds from the smell like they actually used dairy cheese in it.

well it shouldnt have air pockets thats for sure.

hash is tricky though because depending on the strain it was made from very well is what your end smell and taste will be. some strains just no matter how pure its made will smell and taste like ass, doesnt matter how awesome it was before hand it just sometimes happens... but yea there shouldnt be air pockets..

i never buy hash from other people anyway, i notice a shit load of people really have no idea how to make hash safely and im not willing to test out if they did or not.

I once ate something that smelt slightly repulsive; why you ask? cuz sometimes you just have to, lol.

Your lucky you didnt deside to eat it! you might have gotten more that you bargained for.

probably hash that was stored for a long time in a bad way


i also got bubblehash from someone once


he made it 6 months earlier and conserved it in a glass jar


the product looked good but smelled like the feet of a worker mixed with cheese


i also didnt touch it yuck

If it works just smoke it and don't go smelling it.
If it is no good bin it.
Sometimes good herb&hash can have some really nasty smells and that not means that something is wrong with the product.
