Any of you guys see this, crazy.

But the thing I found weird, this same thing happen exactly one year ago?! I kept seeing youtube vids that said uploaded july 7th 2010 and not 2011. So i looked into it more and its true.

Indeed sad! People close to Josh Hamilton (outfielder who tossed the ball to him) said he is taking it really hard. I seen the news this morning and felt so bad for his young son to watch his father fall over the rail trying to get him a ball.

Good point, was wondering how Hamilton is feeling atm. The poor guy that died was bellied against the wall, no chance to reorient his fall.

Just the other day, a baby fell ten stories from an apartment window. A passer by caught the baby and saved it's life.

Man, I lost my father when I was 17, and I can't say how much I feel for this guy's family, but fuck. I just don't understand...

Shit happens, I guess.

Edit: Sour Deez, the vid you're talking about might be the fall from last July. A fan was going for a foul ball and fell from the second deck, fractured his skull but survived. Both were at the same stadium if I recall. Some crazy shit.

maybe they should extend the railing to make it taller instead of having it waist high making it easy to flip over the top. although it might obstruct the view.

Railing is a tough call. I remember when IRL started racing on NASCAR tracks. A wheel broke off and killed a fan. That's when the shepherds-crook fencing was implemented.

I'm not suggesting that MLB is irresponsible but the chance to catch a foul ball, in part fills the cheap seats. But this has happened too many times to merely hope for the best.

Depending where they're sitting, the avid baseball fan can actually reach out and touch the game itself.

Anybody had a beer at the game? They look like a big gulp. Two is about all anybody needs to get sloshed.

I bet we'll see some big changes.

Lets just nurf the whole earth.

that does seem like what lots of people want to do and while i understand that shit will always find a way of happening and murphy's law will always apply, if that railing was 12 inches taller this would most likely not have happened (this year or last). MLB is going to address this problem now because there is going to be a lawyer or two getting in on this. nothing gets fixed until after they have to pay a large settlement.
