I got wigged out yesterday harvesting my gal. I put the trimmed buds on a sheet of newspaper and noticed the police reports which listed a guy getting busted for cultivation.
Made me freaky-deakey for about an hour.

Well after my house almost burned down (non grow related), That shit will scare the piss out of you!! I burned myself pretty good when it happened, house would have been gone without a fire extinguisher. the only reason I have the F.E. is bc i grow. After fire out, couldnt call 911, ended up driving self to ER with some nasty 2nd degree / light 3rd degree burns.
Since then, I have tried to think of many improbable situations and try to plan how I would / will react. Not a bad idea for anyone to do truthfully. Just being prepared.
"Improbable" shit does happen and should be planned for. Not saying it should keep you up at night but I def dont agree with you shouldnt worry about it at times. It is the paranoia that sometimes discovers possible security flaws.

Got a Chicago customs form from a seed seizure. Nothing came of it. For those curious, it wasn't from the boo/bay and was a <$40 order.

I don't sleep well and spend many nights sitting in the dark watching traffic, listening to the neighborhood, walking the streets, and contemplating scenarios that could expose my secrets.
I know that ALL of my paranoia isn't unfounded either, because I know of over a dozen different grows in my immediate neighborhood. If I was able to locate and identify them then LEO could also, since I don't have the snitches and all the shit that LEO has at their disposal to locate grows. It has helped make me a better, safer grower.
I still have had instances of panic attacks when I envision SWAT busting in and trashing my home in the middle of the night, terrifying the kids and making a spectacle for the media.
It keeps me on my toes and helps keep me on top of my game.
