Late Starting, what I've got so far.

I've recently ordered seeds from a peak in BC and because of the ****s at Canada post my mail is already backed up to 10 days from being sent. I already have plants outside since April and in the ground now. Anyways I was hoping to get a late start on these seeds which I intend on using the Texada Timewarp x Sweet Skunk that i hopefully receive in the mail and breed it to the various strains in have.

I'm thinking I can find a nice stud just in time if the seeds come this week? How does a late start effect the females ( I've also got Northern Lights coming too) . A week or two in starting flowering and a smaller plant resulting in a later and smaller harvest? Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful.

Also thoughts on leaving the seedlings outside during the day and then under fluros during the night for a couple weeks?

45°, I can imagine I'll just get small plants with early bud, I got my seeds anyways. I guess i'll see what happens.

If you're gonna do late starters from seed might be best to put em under 24 hr flouros for the next 4 weeks then put em out mid August for finish by mid to late October. I'm almost at 39lat and our day length right now is 14hrs30mins. 24 on'll get em bigger but also closer to maturity faster

I got almost no love for my late start too. I think you're gonna just have to show'em what you can do with it.

I just planted some girls tonight. Most of them are only a few inches.

I think you should just put'em outside now. Let them adjust to their final resting place. Plus with the sun and the larger hole/container I would think you'd get them larger within the next month than you could with fluoros.

Hey did those peaks come in? I am loving what I see with mj got some blues comin my way.

Your right scrappy, I started plants about 2weeks- before the late starters this year and they weren't too bad actually. They've been outside there whole life and will remain there. Yes they did Northern lights and texada skunk, I popped 10TT x SS and 5 northern lights. Will also be crossing these strains ;D

Update: all visible males picked, Pictures of my wack KC33 from seed never topped.. Need helping judging it to be male or female. Looks like shoots are coming out of pre-flower zones.

I think most of us get a bad early fever to get out in the spring. Thats why the forum is hopping in late winter.

I started a couple of seeds last year on my patio in mid september. The stayed outside till the first frost in mid october. I then finished them in an unheated room taking advantage of the suns low angle to get good window lighting.

I was after seeds, but I did get 4-6 grams of suprisingly good weed as a bonus.

Nice work Claude. I think I may bring a mother of each of the strains inside to finish for a week or two. They'll be in pots though.. Thanks!
