A doctor got up with his 5 minutes and told the city that cannabis in the studies from Health Canada showed that it didn't help with pain and he didn't know why everyone wanted to use it for this reason. !This was probably one of the most ignorant thing I have ever heard anyone ever say. Besides the cop that was there saying it was all about the cash at the same meeting. So sad that in this day and age that there are still ppl as ignorant as this out there spreading their hate and bullshit for all to hear.Stupity like this should be stopped and not encouraged and they need to be educated because if I didn't know better I would think they were plants.
BTW the club was not opened the city said too many ppl were against it . Funny that wasn't what I heard but there were a lot of cops wifes in the crowd saying things like " I don't want this club opened cause the police have enough work to do",,, WHAT?? THE HELL??? really do they have lots to do in Canada because were so crazy here around our Compassion clubs? Seriously give me a fucking break! The bullshit they come up with is too much.. Our local news papers are no better then our local news they report the stories they are told to report and nothing more .. Real fluffy pieces of news lol.. HT product of the year. Year or so ago. It was a good 'gateway' system.
At a public meeting in a small town. A doctor took the floor to give his opinion on growing outside. He said that if someone was allergic to MJ and smelled a flowering plant ,that you had growing outside,that it could possibly cause death. Therefore all air surrounding an outdoor plant should be filtered. City politicians heard it and adopted an ordinance that says all outdoor plants must have their air filtered.
